LOL Scrooges. Got my first gingerbread latte from Starbucks yesterday, I'll be buying eggnog soon, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" by Barenaked Ladies played on my phone by accident (shut up, it was), my kids have already perused the Lego catalog and made their selections, I'm ready to watch A Christmas Story, so...yeah. Bring it.
Christmas can bugger off until December as far as I'm concerned. Present shopping for the kids is done. After that I'm not interested until I go get the tree the weekend beforehand.
I may be able to avoid seeing my extended family this year, so I might actually enjoy Christmas this time around.
These began to pop up on certain streets 'round my neighborhood last week: . They're lit up at night to boot.
We need to institute a new law: No stores or shopping centers may display holiday decorations or holiday merchandise until 30 days before said holiday.
