and I fear that Mr. Lee may not be with us very much longer. He'll be missed.

I hope George tells Lee what the last movie will be about. Personally, I feel so sorry for the guy. I know he says it all matter of fact but, dang. He talks about how he might not get to see the end of Lord of the Rings, let alone Star Wars.

Also, I think about how it must feel to finally get to hold your very own lightsaber in a Star Wars film. But, due to age, you can't fight with it. He's a trooper, and your right, will be very missed. Fortunately, we have over 200 movies that he's done to remember him by. :)

Man, the way everyone is talking, you'd think Lee was dead already!

I haven't even heard that he was sick. Otis_Frampton, do you know something that I don't?

Lee is just always very candid when it comes to his age. He mentioned in an interview a little while ago that he didn't know if he'd still be alive to see Episode III.

He's 81, I believe. He's just calling it as he sees it. He's not ill or anything, but he is an old man. Hmm...is he the oldest actor to appear in a SW film?

Yeah, Lee is classy. But some of the english seems off...I wonder how much was lost/added during the translation. I could have sworn he said in a previous interview, that he only recently watched The Empire Strikes Back for the first time. But here in this interview, he sounds like a lifelong fan of all the movies. I'm not sure what to believe.

No, but even Lee himself has mentioned the possibilty that he may not be around to see some of the films he's appearing in. I hope he's wrong.

Chris Lee is a legend and is definately up there on my list of favourite actors. He never says anything bad about anyone or anything! Mr. Lee you are admired!! It's too bad his character might be killed off in the next episode... I would have liked the idea that Dooku could be out and about somewhere! He's one of the greatest SW villians.

It's great to see someone with so much class in the movie industry. He's been great in everything he's done so far and I can't wait to see him as Dooku again.

You all should go rent or buy "The Man with the Golden Gun" special edition with the audio commentary, behind the scenes documentries etc. Lee is featured quite a bit, and you get a lot of insight into his personality etc. I think Roger Moore states somewhere in it that Lee speaks 5 languages(?).

TMWTGG is often considered either one of the worst or one of the best of the Bond series, depends on your taste. It's one of the consiously cheesey tounge-in-cheek ones. Personaly it's my 2nd fav Moore Bond film.

He adds a certain charm to SW that's been missing since Cushing.
    He's a dying breed that Lee. . .

He was the perfect choice to play a Star Wars villain. He's got the ability to make you love and hate Dooku at the same time.

Just like Peter Cushing did with Tarkin.

Lee seems like a great guy all around.

Supposedly, and take it with a grain of salt as it comes from imdb, Lee's set to play King Haggard in a live-action remake of The Last Unicorn set for 2004.

Christopher Lee is by far one of my favorite actors. But as great as he is onscreen, he seems to be even more of a pleasure off screen. He comes across as both intelligent and respectful, two rare qualities these days.

Also, in case there is actually someone here who hasn't done so, watch From Puppets to Pixels on the AOTC DVD. There is a great bit where GL shows Lee a Yoda puppet with fangs. Lee's reaction is priceless. [face_laugh]
