Always wondered who the evil babe (in the red jumpsuit) was from Jabba’s palace. She seems to be enjoying herself as the Rancor beast feeds on Oola.

 

Nice pic. Begs the question: was Luke the only pilot to tuck his orange flight suit into his boots?

 

I don't know what the uniform regs said. We never bloused our flight suits. Which was a blessing in hot weather, they allowed much better air circulation around our legs than bloused BDU's, which added to the flight suit being the most comfortable uniform I ever wore. Here are some pictures that show the difference; flight suit legs are unbloused and hang loose, while BDU pants cuffs are bloused into the combat boots. Also take note of the intense focus and dead seriousness which are a critical part of the military experience.

 

In one of Zahn's short stories she was named Melina Carniss. (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Melina_Carniss) However, a trading card run in the 90's included her picture and named her Laudica. (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Laudica). Carniss was then retconned to be a separate character that looked the exact same as Laudica, but is a different person that doesn't appear in the film.

 

It seems "Laudica" is an anagram of Claudia.

 

According to Wookieepedia Claudia was the wife of the designer of the trading card run.

 

To be fair, the comic version of Melina Carniss is dressed differently from Laudica - bare shoulder, bare lower leg.

Presumably in Zahn's paradigm, she changed outfits between scenes.
