they built a full Falcon for ESB and kept it and re-used it on ROJ but of course it never actually appears in the final film.

also I know there are differences between the ANH one and the ESB one, but you'd need specific pics to point that out.

 

No they dismantled the Falcon because the sound stages needed to be used for other films between TESB and ROTJ. For ROTJ they didn't build a full Falcon, in the finished film the Falcon is a matte painting, a model and the interiors set. This is definitely the deleted sandstorm scene, the boulders match as do the positioning of the ships, it's probably shortly before they added tons of sand and wind machines.

 

The full sized Falcon was reconstructed for the sandstorm scene.
