IC as Admiral Nkik and General RR'uruurrr

The Jawa admiral looked down from the Star Cruiser dubbed the Dewback and looked down as the troops were deployed on the surface of the planet to fend off the Confederates.

"General, make sure that the assault ships are in position." He said in his language.

"Yes Admiral." The Tusken Raider replied as he and his troops reached the surface.

"Attention all Republic ships! We musn't allow the Confederates to take the planet! Attack them with everything you have and nothing less!" He spoke over the comm.

IC:

//The Hornet came out of hyperspace 120,00 miles from the planet of Corellia along with the rest of the Duro Starfleet.

//Oochy orders the release of the nearly hundred fighter squadrons but held the capital ships back.


OOC: Comanders post your movment like I did.

 

Sliproot orders 45 Trade Federation Droid Starfighter squadrons out,
3 Trade Federation Droid Bombers squardrons out, and
2 Trade Federation Droid Starfighters-Advanced squadrons out
30 Twin Laser Cannons from Commerce Guild Presidente (Hellian) and 30 Twin Laser cannons from Commerce Guild Presidente (suffer) prepare to fire on Republic Navy.

 

--IC as General Onasi and Fleck--

General Onasi was staring at the green-blue planet Corellia from the command deck of the Mon Cal cruiser Warmaker. Something was wrong...

"General!" screamed Admiral Fleck suddenly. "We have a Seppie fleet in-system! One Federation battle freighter, One StarFlare-class- wait, no two- Now, what- one, two, three Tambor-class corvettes, four, now, five-" She looked up at the General, worried. "Launching fighters. We have to engage, General Onasi!"

"Very well." Replied the General, his teeth gritted. "Send out Red, Blue, and Dark Flights."

Suddenly, Fleck had regained her confidence. The General had that sort of effect. "Already done, sir!"

//The Warmaker turned to face the Confederates along with the other Haruun Kal cruisers. Red and Blue Jedi Starfighter Flights, each consisting of 10 squadrons, were sent to engage, along with Dark Flight of V-19 Torrents, also 10 squadrons.

 

IC:

//Oochy over comm(Confedrate forces only): "Launch your fighters and destroy them before launching any transports. Make sure you troops are going to make it there alive."

//General Grevious over Comm to the Republic: "Republic scum, this is General Grevious of the CIS. Surender now and me saved from a terrible death at our hand. This is your only chance."

//The droid star fighters and the Geonosian fighters attack the Republic fighters.

Sliproot heard Oochy's command. " We already have," he replied as he watched his squadrons near the Republics. They began firing at the Republic Squadrons. "Fire the Twin Cannons from Hellian and Suffer!" Tuarus said as he watched the battle.

The General spun to Fleck. "Fleck, we need all the firepower we can get out here, and I don't want our ground troops stuck inside the cruisers if this battle turns for the worse." Fleck nodded. The General continued, "Discharge all the troops and vehicles in the Dreadnaught "Akk's Fang" and send the carriers down to the capital. Tell them to remain inside the carriers and await further orders. Ready the units inside the other cruisers, too, in case the Speratists try to invade the planet."

//The Dreadnaught "Akk's Fang" launched all its ground troops and vehicles to Corellia's capital.

All ground units inside the other cruisers are ready for momentary discharge to the planet.

The Republic and Confedrate starfighters clash in a battle of blurs. The fire from Sliproot's capital ships pouinded heavily on Onasi and Fleck's starfighters, and both Oochy's and his fighters did untold damage to them.

Tambor: Launch all fighters and Corvettes target the Republic capital ships!

100 Geonosian Starfighters and 14 Tambor-class corvettes launch at the Republic capital ships.

 

IC:

//Oochy orders the star fighters and his capital ships to charge the Republic forces. The Hornet stays back whil the other ships charge forwards blasting at Het's MonCal ship at full fire power, the fighters charge forwards and engage his fighters protecting the MonCal.

 

IC:

//Het orders his starfighters to attack the oncoming fighters. The Republic Dreadnaught aids the Mon Calamari vessel and fires upon the oncoming fighters.

//The ground forces move in to attack the ground Confederates. SPHA-T Lasers deployed and assault ground forces.

 

OOC: Hey Vega, did we deploy our troops yet? Nope. So, you can't attack them yet. They are still our ships.

IC: GM mode

//The MonCal is destoryed by the heavy fire from both Tambor's and Oochy's ships. Both sides take heavy damage.

//Oochy happy with the victory over the MonCal, Oochy now orders his ship to fire upon the Dreadnaught, just like with the MonCal, overwelming it with hundreds of fighters and blast from the other capital ships. The two Starflare-class ships park right above the Dreadnaught and fire the the bridge.

 

OOC: Alright. They're just moving into position is that ok? Het is dead since the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser is destroyed.. It seems like I'm the only one fighting the confederates... lol

IC:

//Admiral Het is engulfed in an explosion since the Mon Calamari Vessel being destroyed.

//The Jedi and V-19 starfighters move to attack Oochy's fighters.

//The Republic Dreadnaught attacks Oochy's fighters as well.

 

OOC: I'm going to hold our attacks untill some other republic guy post, or your going to be wiped out.

 

OOC: This is my final attack post until then. My admiral is dead dammit... F'ing dead!

IC:

//Republic Assault Ships Sand and Dune leave Corellia's surface and move to strike behind the Hornet.

 

OOC: Yeah, well your general can take command of the fleet, and you can create a new character after this battle.

After this battle I'll explain how to bye new weapons and the rules there as well.

 

OOC: Wait... are those numbers the ships killed, or the ships remaining after the other ships were killed?

 

OOC: Regardless...

//Deploy Gold Flight and Green Flight, all the fighters I have left. That's 10 Jedi Starfighter squadrons and 10 V-19 Squadrons.

//All capital ships release carriers and have carriers head for the surface. To the carrier at the surface already, establish a defensive perimeter with the AT-ATs and have the other units guard key strategic loactions in the capital.

//Due to heavy losses, the Mon Cal cruiser "Warmaker" is jumping back to Haruun Kal. All remaining capital ships engage the enemy.

 

Talcius stood on the ground at the head of a detachment of soldiers and nearly ripped a Comm. officers arm off as he took a comm. mike into his hand.

"Launch All fighter squadrons, Torrents have been outfitted with bombing ordinance so target those capital ships, Deltas have been outfitted to run protection for them. Remember they may have numbers but we have the force, let it guide you and remember that the only lives that will be lost will be yours. May the force be with you all." He ordered the Capital ships in orbit.

Launching:
30 Squadrons of S and K V-19 Torrents, Outfitted with Torpedos and Rockets and ordered to attack Capital Ships.

30 Squadrons of Delta-7 Jedi StarFighters, outfitted with Concussion missles and ordered to Engage enemy fighters.

"UnForsaken, Redemption, Shining Hope, join up into a shield trio and support our other forces. Dauntless and Crusader, form up and start bombarding the nearest capital ship."

Combat Orders:
Republic Class Dreadnaughts forming up with one dread at the front and flanked by the other two offering some shared shield protection and the ability to focus fire. Moving forward to support Vedd and ConcordDawns forces.

Mon Calamari Star Cruisers flying side by side again offering shared shield protection and a substantial ability to focus fire. Also moving forward to support Vedd and ConcordDawns forces.

"Alright troopers get your butts in gear and get into positions."

Ground Forces:
Setting up in strategic positions, artillery being positioned to have a good firing field at incoming transports. Other ground Vehicles are hooked up to transports and are ready to be carried to hotspots.
Clone Troopers are deployed in a defensive pattern around artillery batteries and have begun setting up temporary bunkers. Arc Troopers and Jedi Task Forces are awaiting orders in transports ready to hit trouble spots.

OOC: Thanks Talcius and ConcordDawn. I was beginning to worry about my ships. As you know my Admiral is dead... my forces will aid you both in any way possible.

 

IC:

//General RR'uruurrr over Comm to Krayt Dragon: "Evacuate the ship and initiate self destruct sequence! You must escape! The enemy will be too busy holding off our forces. You can make it to safety."

//Escape Pods launch down to the planet surface from the Dreadnaught as it self destructs, clouding the escape pods.
