when I watched it all it was was a bunch of jedi acting like superheroes. I gave ip midway through the grevious duel though. Admitedly it was original to have mace punch an army to pieces. That dosn't make it good quality or have a good legacy however...

It had a beginning, middle, and end. Also, it didn't waste time on meaningless junk. And to top it all off; the show actually focused on Anakin.

From your comments it seems that you didn't like the animation style of the microseries much. And that's perfectly fine, Genndy has a unique animation style that may not be up to everyone's taste.

The story was good not great mind you and I like it just not as much as 08 because everyone was way to OP for my tastes.

It's funny guys because whenever I watch the microseries I'm like, "This feels like Star Wars in a way TCW doesn't."

I didn't really like the animation in the microseries either, I much prefer Filonimation.

But I prefer the microseries for almost everything else.

By the way, please tell me what the great story of TCW was from start to finish.

When it comes to animation, I love the style of the microseries. Then again, I grew up with classics like Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack, so I was used and well into Genndy's animation before the microseries.

But if I have to pick one animation style, I'd pick Rebels. It's just gorgeous to look at. TCW has fantastic animation too, but the box-like faces ruin it for me.

I love both cartoons, but the microseries does have that "Star Wars" feeling as in the OT feeling, while the Filoni series feels more like the prequels. I like to picture the Jedi at their peak as these overpowered beings of awesomeness before the Empire.

TCW felt like the prequels to you? Because honestly it felt like to me, the show went out in its way to retcon them whenever possible.

There is one. You might have missed the point of the show though or don't care for it.
I grew up with the show so it was relevant to me ALOT.

It was the story of Ahsoka. From Jedi apprentice to Leaving the order.

With a whole lot of other stuff, ie Clones, 'politics' (attempt), Bounty Hunters, Maul/Ventress/savage, droids.

She is the main plot thread throughout the series and you can see her develop and learn, somewhat organically.

So, I finally decided to pick TCW up where I left off many many years ago and just finished season 3. Uh, wasn't it awkward enough that Chewbacca appeared in Episode III and was best buds with Yoda? Now they have him going on an adventure with his future friend's father's apprentice?!?! Ugh...

Overall season 3 was enjoyable. It had some clunkers (like the clone episodes) but the rest was nice. Still, there are so many little things that drove me up a wall. Why are all the members of the Separatist Council still members of the Republic? ❓❓

Edit: this was my first post in over a year?! Wizard!

That--her being the "main plot thread throughout the series" and "the point of the show"--was the problem for those of us who went into the show thinking it would fill in the gaps between AOTC and ROTS, using characters we already knew with a few more being introduced.

It just almost seems like it needed a different title.

The Adventures of Ahsoka Jones Tano?

    *Ahem*

All jokes aside, I too am upset with how the show was done as well.

It does not have one because it jumps around so much that's why it's called an anthology show.

Still prefer it to the 03 one.

A show about the so called Clone War doesn't have a story? And when was it labeled an anthology show?

And provide us with useless prequels and sequels such as most of Season 3 before the timeskip.

I'd love for the Anakin/Ventress Yavin duel to be canonized, but I hope that Durge is never canonized.

I'm not Durge's biggest fan for obvious choking hazard reasons, however if they found a way to bring him back in the most unexpected way possible, I might be down with it. Like if he played a minor role in a short story or one-off comic, leaving all of us scratching our heads wondering why the heck they used Durge of all characters. Preferably we'd never get an answer, resulting in endless fan speculation.

Then they'd randomly do it again 10 years later. That's how you roll when you troll in SW.

All Anakin/Ventress duels should be canonized. And more should be made.

It's interesting to think that they almost used Durge for TCW (at least his armor and general backstory), but in the end decided to create Cad Bane instead. I think we're all better for having Cad Bane in the world.

That said, a Durge-like character showing up would definitely be a fun nod.
