The next comic is up, and we get to see Dooku's and Ventress' spin on "aggressive negotiation".

    YES!!!!! DOOKU ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING!

Dooku in action is a rare event. Especially when he wins. :D

Oooo and Falleen joined the Seps? Interesting. I had always assumed they stayed loyal to the Republic throughout the war.

EDIT: Falleen's next to Rodia... as well as Hutt Space. And to a lesser extent, Rishii. They're certainly staying in one region of the galaxy, continuity-wise.

Threatening Dooku is nice to see. He doesn't get enough BA moments.

    *sigh*. Another continuity headache.

Falleen's Senator pledged the world to Count Dooku after playing off both the Confederacy and the Republic in Jedi: Count Dooku.

Not quite. The senator pledged his loyalty to Dooku. Now that might seem like the planet should immediately go to the CIS, but Senators don't lead their planets. Perhaps he did not have enough sway with the leader of Falleen for the planet to choose to join the CIS. There are a number of other things the senator could have done for Dooku to make an easy victory, as the droid seemed to indicate.

Frankly, I thought it was continuity porn. I mean, Deshade? Good stuff.

(Besides, do we know that that senator was from Fallen? Not every member of a species comes from his/her specie's homeworld.)

was that Xizor's dad? Wasn't his family the one that kept the Dashade around?

I think the CW map showed Falleen as a CIS world, so its seems to me rather good continuity. And loyalties of senators has little to do with a world being occupied by the CIS. Remember that Thustra seceded and its senator was considered in good standing with the Republic--until proven to be a jerk at least.

I take it that's a bunch of clones in the tanks on p. 36?

Dooku was great in this. And Hodges (this was Hodges, right?) managed to give him a nice long face without going in for the ridiculous show-style distortion, so very nice.

    From the newest Homing Beacon.

Other stories coming up include "Discount," wherein droid dealer Gha Nachkt brokers a shady sale for a Separatist leader. In "Transfer," Anakin dispatches Ahsoka Tano on a personal errand despite the wishes of the Jedi Council. And in "Departure," a simple attempt to prep a ship for transit ends up in a nightmare when C-3PO and Jar Jar Binks are involved.

Doku said "your highness" so yeah...that sounds like him.

Nah, just people kept in hibernation.

    The what now?

Doku said "your highness" so yeah...that sounds like him."

That alone doesn't prove it, since Xizor's family was one of many royal families controlling various kingdoms on Falleen. As far as we have been told, no one family controls the entire world.

If it ends up being his father, that's pretty neat. Although Xizor wouldn't have fallen (falleen?) for a trick like that. ;)

Good grief... not another Jar Jar/3PO episode. [face_worried]

Don't worry, it's no doubt just the web-comic that comes before the Bombad Jedi episode.

I think Departure will the web comic associated with Bombad Jedi. In either case, we can expect a lot of this from the two - [face_laugh]

Why? The whole problem Quinlan faces is that the Falleen senator has lied to the CIS and pretended to be loyal.

what is a C14? As in the Trandoshan's offer to trade Ahsoka a C14 for her R3.

Heh. That Passel is such a looser. While I love the Seps, I've never had much faith in that guy.

Although I don't understand why Gra Nacht is such an important droid dealer. I mean, he's just one guy with not much for sale. And he smells.

Maybe the Seppies like the music he plays in the ship while they're shopping around. It is certainly better than your typical shopping muzak. And I doubt he blasts life day carols through the ship during the holiday season :p

    Ummmm.....

Passel probably deliberately wanted someone out of the way, and Watt found out about it.

Though I have to wonder how he got Grievous' phone number to tell him about R2 in the first place.

He got some prety scarry droids,so i guess he is quite high in the galaxy junk dealer list.

    Fair enough.

Hmmm... I just realized he sold him 4A-7. At least, I'm assuming that's the same 4A-7.
