Full Series Clone X

Just a thread to talk about the clone x program. Plus a poll. Cause I think they have appeared enough to warrant a thread.

 

I think Crosshair's mutation was part of the reason he resisted the Clone X conditioning and that would rule Tech out. I do hope it's not Cody. Considering that none of the CXs have been recognized, I postulate it's a unknown clone.

 

The only other clone I think one could be would be Slick

 

They do love connecting this back to early TCW

Oh and somebody on reddit suggested Dogma could be one

 

This is like trying to figure out who Marrik was and that answer was unexpected and disappointing. To me at least. Are more call backs needed? Too much fan service does not always end well.

I think this season's dragon is Shadow Cody. The way he kicked Crosshair's ass reminded me of Cody who was the clone at hand-to-hand combat. He was also a smart tactician. Smarter than Wolffe and able to almost outthink Rex. My suspicions grew stronger when Shadow Cody didn't die in his first episode. Narratively the payoff has been setup. Cody gave Crosshair that nice speech about living with what he's done. Then since he refused to carry out an order he just disappeared. I don't think Cody went AWOL. He's too important of a clone to just go AWOL. He's got a connection to all the members of the Bad Batch and Rex. He is probably the best-developed surviving clone available. Just make sense to me.

Could it be a Crosshair clone?

 

I’m hoping it’s Cody as that’d make the most sense in terms of story and would tie in with why he went missing.

I feel like it’d make sense if the likes of Slick and Dogma were the very first clone assassins created given that no one would have really even noticed their disappearance what with them being prisoners.

 

I'm leaning toward generic clone for this. Those clones' identities being wiped doesn't seem conducive to setting up some big reveal.

 

Generic I hope. Not everyone has to be someone we already know.

I don't think they are any famous clones. They are just random clones who were broken and re-educated. Although if one of the known clones were to pop up as one of the Agents I wouldn't complain about the shock value.

Yeah, the clone thing could just be a red herring. I know he's voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, but that could just be the mask (just like how Boushh's helmet, voiced by Pat Welsh, had a different voice than Carrie Fisher).

 

Or just a bloke.

I'd like to change my vote to this, please. Would make a great callback (and be a good excuse to finally explain Slick's whole deal, too).

 

Well, after all, Slick was able to fight with both Cody and Rex rather effectively. Plus Ventress was the one who seduced him.
