Experimenting with decals I have 5 of these sheets left over if anyone wants to buy em all for $10. They're for 6 inch Star Wars Black Clone Troopers. Laser printed clear water slide decals, really nice.
I got some Vallejo paint today, glad I dont have to custom mix the bluegray for Wolfpack troopers anymore
Was commissioned for a normal 212th Airborne trooper I ordered more Vallejo so I don't have to custom mix colors anymore, I think they're close enough. Wolfpack blue/gray: Intermediate Blue (French Blue might work too) 212th Airborne: Rust Orange (and Bomb Squad if you like the dirty orange) Bacara, Galactic Marines, Mace Windu troopers?: Violet Red
They need a few things, but eh looks good enough to post Tried some of Tamiya's weathering powder on the gun, and I'm not that impressed. I can get the same finish with brushes in about the same amount of time. Plus with paint I don't have to worry about accidentally wiping away the metal before sealing. I mean, I assume you have to seal the powder with spray sealer because the stuff wipes off with little effort.
Thanks bub It takes some patience, but the hardest parts are finding techniques to create weathering that looks okay at this scale.
Amazing work! I’m working up the courage to do some custom dabbling, but this miles beyond what I could ever dream of doing. (How much would a custom Mara Jade cost? Do you do commission work?
I always think that, but then I dirty them up and Im like yeeeeeeaahhh boooiiii haha. I'll try to post updates later today. Thanks bub. If you mean there's a shortage of Bandai Clone Troopers, yeah, theyre constantly sold out, but get restocked regularly by some online toy shops. I use Black Series Clonetroopers The hard part is getting started, forming techniques you're comfortable with, etc. Yeah I take commissions, check my Instagram or ArtStation gallery. https://www.instagram.com/henchmen4hire/ https://henchmen4hire.artstation.com/ Email me some reference pics, ideas for what bodies you want to use, etc. And I can give you a price.
@Henchmen4Hire I see you bought a 3D printer. Very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can make with it
