I saw Goblet of Fire at Midnight last Thursday and definitely agree that it's the best one so far. I hope to see it again, soon!

    Hey guys.

I took my dachshund for a walk this evening and he got attacked by a huge dog. This woman was walking two huge mutts, and as soon as they saw him, they started going crazy. I walk my dog every night, and never before had I seen them. One of them got loose and ran at Elvis. It bit him instantly, so I tried to get the other dog away. I picked mine up defended him from the dog, all the while the woman was holding the other one back. I asked her to come get her dog, and she appologized, and the dog finally walked away. I started momving towards a nearby playground, and the dog turned to him. I had to deflect it once again. Again it finally stampered off. I went up into a swingset to get away, and I called my sister to come pick up me and Elvis. It took this lady about four minutes before she was able to finally get ahold of her dog. She finally did, and apologized from a distance. I told her if she couldn't control her dogs she shouldn't be walking them. She said that they're harmless and wouldn't do anything. Of course, that doesn't explain the fact that her dog bit mine and he has some scratches on his belly.

I was a bit scared for myself, but mostly for my dog. More than anyting else this just infuriates me.

Sorry hearing about that but I must say if I am not cruel towards animals but if a dog came along and started attacking mine and the owner was in that way I would have just kicked her dog then the thing would have moved away I know it is bad to say something like that but I just would if that dog attacks other dogs like that then it does not have any respect at all which is a bad thing cause it can more than likely turn on that woman if you show and let that dog knows who's boss then you do not have any problems at all.

I hope that Elvis is ok PM. That women should not have both dogs with her if she is unable to restrain them both.

Thanks, everyone. Elvis is okay, thankfully. It could have been much worse, though. I took a risk at intervening, but I had to. I love my doggy so much. She shouldn't have been walking a large uncontrollable dog, much less two of them.

This is Elvis, by the way.

    Very cool dog, PM.

Anyways, I didn't realize that the Unleashed figs. were so incredibly detailed!

Yes they are DP I have a few of them but as we know hasbro will be storing unleashed of that size for a while and releasing the smaller scaled down unleashed figures I have seen them myself and they do look cool in their own way but I would not want loads of little unleashed figures scattered on my shelf they remind me of chess pieces more than anything else.

Sorry to hear about your dog, man, he's a cute one. My wife and I commented that a dachshund might be a good dog for us to get one day when we feel we are ready to have a kid, cat, and dog.

I love the Unleashed 7" line, though some of the poses that they used for some of the characters seemed a little ridiculous.

And, to be one to stand out from the crowd, I have zero interest in seeing a Potter movie or reading one of the books.

Now, King Kong and Narnia will definitely be getting my rare movie theater dollars!

Dachshunds are great dogs, Spook. In my experience with them, they train themselves to ask to go outside to use the restroom. Mine has never done it in the house since he's lived with me and my sister (about five months now). He loves people, even those he's never seen before. He will bark if here's stuff, though. I'm surprised at how smart they are... they catch on to phrases pretty quickly. I just ask Elvis, "Do you want to go for a walk?" and he gets excited. When he sees the leash, it only adds to that excitement. I don't know if that'll be the case after tonight, though. :p

You just have to be careful when it comes to food... they LOVE food. With a passion. If given the choice, they'd eat until they blew. That's when they become the most defensive. Great dogs all around, though. :)

That would defenitely suck. I guess I'll have to find as many Unleashed figs as I can because of that. I'm thinking about looking for the Emperor, Yoda vs. Sidious, and General Grievous. If worst comes to worst, i'll probably end up buying them online from Amazon or something.

DP, more than likely you are going to have to resort to finding them by using eBay as the Emperor hasn't seen the pegs in a long time, and I haven't seen a Grievous in a store since I returned the one I bought (on April 2nd) in early May. YvsS might be found still in some stores.

I'm sorry to hear that little Elvis got attacked :_| I'm glad he's ok, poor little guy is probably terrified :(

That brings back memories of when I lived in Mass. My sister's Shepard mix, Fozzie, was a big sweetheart, but would defend his owners w/ his life. He and my Mom's Cockapoo used to tussle all of the time and Foz wouldn't do anything worse than grab hold of Spencer's ear to hold him off. That was how he fought other dogs.

We had a girl next door who had 2 dogs, a Golden mutt and a huge, ill-bred Rottweiller. Lucas was something like 150lbs and would bark his menacing head off. First time he and Fozzie met Lucas attacked him. Then one evening we were getting ready to take Foz for his evening walk and Lucas nudged open the window to his apartment, flew out of it and attacked. He knocked all of the front teeth in Fozzie's mouth. Once my sister corralled Foz back in the house she put on huge thick gloves, picked up a shovel and chased Lucas back into his apartment. Luckily once she started shouting at him he calmed down. If he had attacked her, she would've knocked him out w/ the shovel. His owner paid for Fozzie's surgery and moved the next month.

Thanks to that dog, I'm terrified of that breed.

Glad to hear Elvis is okay, PM.

Personally, I'm more of a cat person. But even the cats are starting to get on my nerves. It's almost bedtime here, but I'm pretty excited about this week. We get Thanksgiving vacation this week starting at 12:20 on Wednesday. That gives me 4 1/2 days off! Woo-hoo!

That's terrible, Erika. It breaks my heart to know of large, untamed dogs hurting small and innocent ones. :(

DarkPrince... you've most likely still got a shot at getting the Emperor and General Grievous figures. They've been shipping in recent refresh waves, and you can bet they'll be on the pegs for Christmas.

I think he is referring to the Emperor Unleashed that came out a good while ago that has just him shooting Force Lightning out of his hands with his robe flying all around.

I just finished watching Blade 3 and while I loved the first movie, the second was awful, and the third was decent. The only problem is that the movie was left strangely open at the end, even though there are no plans to continue with more movies. I hate that! Why can't they wrap up movies completely anymore?!?
