I got 3 colours of leather; black, dark brown & brown. There should be lots left over.

Rabellaka what was that dough made from? When I baked it it a sirup oozed out from the bottom.

Flour, salt, cream of tarter, water, vegetable oil, and it said to add cinnamon to make it brown... and there was nutmeg to make it darker, but not much of either.

I used sea salt instead of regular salt, but I don't think that should have made any difference.

Maybe some of the excess oil was leeching out. Hopefully it came out OK once it was baked.

I saw the photos on Facebook today. We look very industrious!

I made good progress on Logray's staff today. It's looking pretty good. I've completed the actual wooden stick, the two bones on top, and the two top feathers. Next I'll be doing the strand of dangling strand of bones and what-not. I also need some bits of leather and fur to finish it off. Is there any way I can get into the Garrison before Sunday to get some supplies?

well if you ever want to make a something and have it hallow this stuff is great. The out side that dried from the air stays but when you bake it everything inside melts away. It may have been the sea salt or spices.

If you need in the garrison, I can open it Wed, Thur or Friday in the afternoon.

hmmm... I'll try a different recipe next time. The website had about 2 dozen.

I was at Fabricland on Wonderland today and there is a really nice silvery fun fur there, but it was at normal price. I did find out that it will be half price for members the weekend after next. Also, some of the fun fur at the Dundas one is still $6/meter. I didn't make it to the south one today.

That's cool. It would be nice to make a Chief Chirpa too once we get these two done.

I remade the feet, mouth and nose for Logray. I also made them for Teebo too.

Great! I have Logray's staff 80% done. I just need to pick up some leather and fur from the Garrison tomorrow to finish it off.

I have plenty of feathers for Logray and Teebo's head-dresses.

For silver fur, I found something at Fabricland on Exeter rd that might work. It's a fake fur throw, 50"x60", with white "suede" as the backing. They were on sale for $19.99, but I didn't have any money that day.

Oh, and Len's Mill Store has 3 bolts of Star Wars fabric, X-Wings and TIEs, for $3.99/yd or $4.29/m.

I can probably pick up that silver-grey fur rug on Saturday, if you think it's a good price and will work OK.

Lord_Robert, here's another Logray pic. You can see his head dress better.

I picked up so styrofoam at Home Depot for $10.69, it's enogh to do all the heads. So I hope you kept the receipt for the stuff you bought. You could return it and that could be enough to buy that fur for the cheif.

Great, do you think you could bring it over Sunday.

Great. Can't wait to see it. I re-sewed the legs on the Logray body. It looks much better now that the fur all goes in the same direction. I wonder if we should re-do the arms too?

I was thinking that too because we can use the fur that we used the first time on the face and head.
