What is that show about anyways? A high school girl who is a detective?

That's JD's car? She and JB should get together then. They both have yellow Xterras.

ES, that is definitely Logan's car! That is so darned cool! I need to see her car now! I love Logan though I thought Duncan was great. They had to get rid of Duncan because people like Logan-Veronica more (LoVe). I guess it is about a young detective, sort of a hip Nancy Drew. She's in college now so she's not a high school detective. SR, I can lend you the first two seasons on DVD if you'd like to catch up. Tomorrow should show the third season premiere because last week was the half season finale.

Heroes was awesome! I'm so sad that I have to wait until January 22! The Haitian speaks! Is Eden dead now? Poor claire! And how on earth is Peter going to explode? Oh, and I saw an ad for the latest Rocky movie and Peter is in it as Rocky's son! I love his hair in the movie.

    I hate hiatus time.

I've been thinking (yeah.. big surprise) about Heroes. I loved the last episode! Anyway.. I wonder if Hiro and Ando are modeled after R2-D2 and C-3PO. Ando wears a yellow jacket and has to translate what Hiro says (at least in the early episodes). He's also very conservative and slightly afraid of everything. Hiro on the other hand is very adventurous and is able to "save the day" to some extent. The two also play a bit of comic relief in the series. Very much like our beloved Droids. I just thought of something else! Ando.. Ando-droid.. Android!!! = C-3PO!!!

JR, I have to admit that was very insightful!

Okay, I know most of you are off the Smallville bandwagon and last night's episode was nothing special but it's leading to the formation of the JLA! I'm so excited!

I don't know if you're right or not, but BRILLIANT insight about Heroes, JR. I absolutely loved the Fall season finale!

DH, I still watch Smallville, although I missed last week's due to my DVR dying & all. (A plague on both Time-Warner's houses!)

Did anyone watch the season-opening 24?
    Pretty awesome.

YES, of course. Hey, maybe you're still "alive" since you're out there in Whittier!

I have it on Tivo I wanted to watch all four hours last night, but Devin wanted to watch the Golden Globes so we watched that instead. I probably won't see it until this weekend if even.

Tonight we watched American Idol and ES I just knew I was going to see you. They were in MN and it was bad. So bad it was funny. I don't normally like to watch this show but I felt a need to see people who were clueless.

ES, yes, we are alive. Good thing Whittier is no where near Valencia.
We watched American Idol also. I felt bad for all those people, and one person reminded me of ES with the way she talked (I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything, just an observation...miss you ES!).
Tomorrow's episode looks even worse because there were no attractive people in the preview.

BTW, we now have a DVR.. AND a DVD recorder! We've entered the 21st Century.

I used to watch those beginning episodes of Idol but stopped because it's just not fun anymore to watch. But I do catch it on occasion later on.

Anyway, very pleased to see Hugh Laurie and Kyra Sedgewick won Golden Globes. If you'all haven't seen House or The Closer you should watch. Both are great actors.

    VK,

I think I heard his acceptance on the radio. Is he British or something? If so, damn he does a great American accent.

Oh, yes, veddy, veddy British. What, you've never watched Blackadder? Or Jeeves and Wooster? For shame, madame, for shame.

Verrrry funny. :p I'll have you know I was in LA when they did the MN taping last September! I didn't watch Am. Idol 'cause my sis and dad hadn't seen Monday's 24 yet, so we watched that instead...I caught a bunch of things I didn't think to look for the first time since I knew what would happen. SR, you need to stay caught up from now on so we can talk w/out worrying about spoilers!

I also missed the Golden Globes because of 24--I forgot ALL about them! :( All I saw was the E! post-show (boring!).

Oh, I was a great Blackadder fan, but haven't seen it for ages. (It's on my rather long DVD Wish List.) Looking back on it, I remember him in Blackadder, but never would have if not for you.

I don't even remember Jeeves and Wooster.

    I have a cunning plan...

I present, for your edification and enjoyment, Mr. Hugh Laurie (in the guise of HRH the Prince of Wales in Blackadder III):

    [image=http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b52/ValedaKor/laurie.jpg]

Prince George: Sink me Blackadder if I haven't just had the most wonderful evening of my life.
    Blackadder: Tell me all, sir.
Prince George: Well as you know when I set out I looked divine. At the party as I passed all eyes turned.
Blackadder: And I daresay quite a few stomachs.

This week's episode of Smallville was AWESOME! I love that the JL is forming, though it should be Batman who's supplying the money. Chloe was given the codename "Watchtower" which I thought was fabulous! I love superheroes!

I finally caught up with Battlestar Galactica and almost all of Doctor Who. The last BSG made me think of King David, Uriah and I think it was Bathsheba or someone like that. I think Lee sent Kara's husband, what's his name, to his death so she can get out of the marriage and Lee will divorce Dee (which is sad since she's already lost Billy because of him. I miss Billy.) and they can live their sordid lives together until she gets bored of him.

New Heroes this coming Monday! Yeah! New Veronica Mars too! Too bad there won't be a new Lost until February.

Oh, and ES, because of you, I checked out Monk and am now hooked. MAN!

So tonight, Heroes or 24? Which one do I watch? Both are on at the same time! The only two TV programs I watch. I'm going to record both with my DVR (I can record two shows at the same time right?), but I can't decide which one to watch "live".

I recently got a DVR and was told that you can record 2 things at once, but you have to be watching one of them in order to do it. It's worked for me so far and I'm not terribly technilogically savy.

I have 2 cable boxes, 1 regular digital & 1 dvr. This way I can tape 2 shows & watch a third on the other box. Like, last night I taped Desperate Housewives and The Dresden Files (new SciFi series) and watched Family Guy and American Dad on the B box. For me, it's worth the extra cost of about $10.

Did you guys know BSG is back on at 10PM Sunday?

Watched The Dresden Files last night. It was pretty good. Also got my BSG fix. Was that a new one last night or does it start next Sunday?

Are you on the list? Don't forget Heroes tonight!

Watch 24, like me! I have to record both too 'cause my sister's gone every Monday night and wants to see both. I was just gonna let Heroes go, to be honest, but since she wants to keep watching, I s'pose I will too.

    DH,
I just watched BSG last night (thank the Lords of Cobalt for DVR's). Starbuck's husband is alive. So's Dee, who was ordered to rescue Starbuck. I think it's really weird that Lee would get a divorce, but won't cheat; but, Starbuck will cheat, but not divorce.

I think the use of the ancient Native American/Buddhist/Hindu symbol of the mandala is very interesting, and what is Starbuck's "special destiny"?

Heroes was awesome! (But when isn't it?)

Dresden files --- one of my new "must watch or tape"s.
