PT Could Aayla Secura survive or be brought back in Rebels or new films?

NO SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 7!!!!!!!! Let's keep it clean!

Could Aayla Secura make a comeback? She was an awesome (and hot) character, a talented Jedi strong in the Force and respected. Is there a chance in a film or in Rebels (flashbacks even?) or even in a new series?

She was awesome in TCW, why did they not have more of her??

I'm no fan of bringing characters back from the dead. They did it with Maul and they did it with Boba Fett. That is more than enough imo.

 

She wasn't just shot...she was shot countless times. Like the Clones wouldn't let up until they were sure she wasn't twitching. Now it worked for Luminara to be brought back...we never saw her killed on screen. Same with Shaak Ti. Her death was recorded, but it was a deleted scene.

 

She clearly died in ROTS.

 

Of all the Jedi in ROTS, she probably received the most overkill.

 

Pretty sure I remember her getting shot multiple, multiple times. She's dead, I'm afraid.

Can we please let dead characters remain dead? It's already bad enough that Darth Maul has been brought back for no purpose whatsoever aside from the "cool" factor, we don't need every well-designed dead character to suffer the same fate.

Of course, Aayla could be brought back, like anyone else. With a convoluted plot any character can come back from the dead. Example: Count Dooku, when comissioning clones of Jango Fett, also comissioned a clone of himself. He suspected of Sidious' plan to replace him and fled away to the Outer Rim prior to the Battle of Coruscant, replacing himself with the clone. There, Count Dooku could be alive and kicking by the time Rebels takes place. But just because someone could be brought back, doesn't mean he/she should. If they want to tell a story about Aayla Secura, place the movie during the Clone Wars, or before that. Let her death in ROTS be the final remark on her character.

On a side-note, I think Boba is dead in New Canon, isn't he? He dies in the Sarlacc Pit officially

 

Could she be brought back? Certainly.

But why - what's so awesome about her she should be brought back? (At least in the past)she's been a fan favorite largely (as expressed by those fans themselves) because of her physical appearance, not by any particular deeds or characterization. Nothing suggests particularly she's a wise or strong Jedi, or would have anything to contribute.

 

The STAR WARS series has long followed "The Star Trek Rule of Character Death": Only Redshirts from Security die without hope of resurrection. Anyone else is a candidate for a return.

 

There are plenty of female twi'leks for you to masturbate to admire as potential leaders of the Jedi and appreciate as examples of positive female role models and respect as a part of the lore of Star Wars.
