Actual script? Or drivel uploaded by certain fans that want only ANH and ESB to be the only true Star Wars films ever?

As far as I know, these scripts are the real deal.

Believe it when the writer releases them himself.

the visual dictionary reveals that the force dyad is linked to the sithari prophecy and the rule of two prophecy. It's a shame the trilogy did not end up on mortis, with kylo and ren representing the ying and the yang. I always wondered if the Son from Mortis did not influence the creation of rule of two.
Tor Vallum reminds me of the concept art of dark creature lurking behind talon from lucas's sequel trilogy. he is not a sith but a creature who mentored all sith hence why he trained both plagueis and palpatine. his concept clearly evolved into the sith eternal cult. Either way Snoke was a place holder who was suppose to train and challenge the eventual successor to the sith Kylo ren.
In the disney timeline darth ruin would be the first sith lord. I wondered if his canon version was renamed to ren.

I quite like the VD revealing the Sith were digging on Exogol for the World Between Worlds...

Maybe Ruin / Ren is a Voyager / Vger type situation. Or Revan / Rivan.

Keep in mind that concept art doesn’t necessarily indicate the intent of anyone besides the artist.

It was said that a curator heard Duel of the Fates being chanted in the Zhell tombs. I wonder if that inspired Bongiorno to have the Zhell be followers of the Sith gods.

I'll just take the time to point out that I've teamed with Joe Bongiorno to republish all my Star Wars expanded universe author interviews from the 2010's in a new column on the timeline, so check them out if you ever feel inclined.

If the Rakata believed that they had a divine right to rule the galaxy, they would, from a certain point of view, be correct.

That's the Oracle, isn't it, not Tor Vallum? I think the idea was the baby is some creature itself, probably living in a weird symbiosis with the Oracle. Just a spooky image.

@Darth_wanderguard, from the Duel of the Fates art.

Should we use this for not-Wapoe?

    T'Or(acle) Valum

Naboo Swamp heads + Dagobah spidertrees and a dose of Alice in Wonderlands mushroom loving pipesmoker.

Of course headshape is totally Zeffo from Jedi Fallen Order recently. And the spiderlike configuration reminds me of Spidermaul from TCW.

I can't help to think his name is Tor VALIUM named after a character from Spaceballs!

All in all though, why is the Oracle called an Oracle? What does it foretell?

Tor Valum was an ancient villain that is less active than Palpatine or Plagueis yet a longterm survivor influencing many generations of Sith. Yet easily defeated by Kylo to not detract from the main storyline with a new villain.

The oracle that took his place in a later script seems to equally have a brief Kylo encounter only. Both in design and function resemble a dark side version of TESB Dagobah Yoda for Luke. Whereas with Tor Valum Kylo even battled an apparition of Vader, as Luke did in the tree-cave-temple, the Oracle seems to simply tell him something important.

Originally with leaks of an oracle and no context many thought it ties into the Choosen One Prophecy and Balance foretold, but now given it is a darkside variant, maybe it ties more to the Sith'ari prophecy? Given Mustafar was a Jedi world before volcanos took over and the dark side consumed it, the Oracle may predate this and be millennia old and actually the origin of the Choosen One Prophecy.

Depending if you view the oracle as a light or dark or neutral entity, its connection to the giant baby head may be symbiotic or parasitic underlining its affiliation.

Speaking of the Zeffo - they are probably one of the Firstborn, right?

Is it weird that the Emperor's theme popped in my head while reading this?

Also, is this Hastur / The King in Yellow?

"...a thing of about nine or so feet garbed in a shimmering and pale yellow robe. Its face and features were hidden behind a sallow, horned mask. No eyes could be discerned. Its long hands and tapered fingers were covered in silky black gloves. Its left hand held a vellum-manuscript bound in snakeskin, its cover marked only by a xanthous symbol."

    adjective -
    yellow.

“I am the king before whom emperors bow,” the being said in a bottomless voice that was not quite attached to the form on the throne..."

"'The ambitions of Caesar and Napoleon pales before that which could not rest until it has seized the minds of men and controlled even their unborn thoughts,' said Mr. Wilde.
'You are speaking of the King in Yellow', I groaned with a shudder.
'He is a king whom Emperors have served.'"
