So long as you're OK with some collateral damage, couple of pedestrians on the hood and a lot of scratched paint, it works fine.
There's Phantom Liberty perks based upon Cyberpunk: Edgerunners with Lucy, Rebecca and David! The last one featuring overdrive on way too much tech upgrades Excuse to post I Really Want to Stay at Your House!
I tried this game a couple years ago and bounced off pretty quick. The positive reception Phantom Liberty is getting alongside that patch that seemingly revamps a lot of stuff has me itching to give it another shot. Maybe next year once this onslaught of games subsides.
Text me sir. I will show you the light. *turns away from Starfield for a moment* I can’t wait to walk into Dogtown. I’m going to do a brand new play through after debating it for a while.
There is a pretty steep learning curve in this game and I suspect that may not change in 2.0. It's very different in how it plays. It's great when you crack it but it can be difficult to do it at first.
My biggest thing as far as a learning curve was customizing the way I wanted to approach enemies and missions. My old main character was a sandevistan Merc who carried a mini arsenal around with him to deal with any situation. For my new playthrough, im going to role play him/her very realistic: only going to carry two primary weapons and 1 melee weapon, playing on hard or very hard, and really immerse myself.
Feeling slightly crestfallen as the 2.0 update has broken the vr mod I use, and the modder says it will take a lot of work to fix it. So I will probably hold off on getting into Phantom Liberty for awhile, oh well. On a brighter note, I really like the new menus for cyber ware and how clothes no longer impact armor, that will make the level up system a lot smoother.
Hey! Lucy made it back from the Moon and put up holographic memorials for her friends (or she just called someone on Earth to do it)
Spoiler: Putting it as a spoiler just in case I really love the songs they put in the game and it seems that Phantom Liberty is very Bond themed. Can't wait to play it...
This game is absolutely phenomenal. The skill trees make so much sense and make many different play styles viable. The enemies are smart and tactical (on higher difficulties) and combat feels smooth and incredibly reactive. The cars drive better. The police are an actual threat. 2.0 and Phantom Liberty have completely changed the game and this has made me feel like I’m playing a brand new game. Kudos to CDPR.
I finally got a subscription for GeForce Now as I wanted to play the game with higher settings as it almost melted my laptop before. Such a gorgeous game.
Oh, good, it's not just me. I started playing finally, and both the driving and the shooting seem reaaaaaaaaaaaally crappy.
The shooting is more or less alright for me, but the driving was (did not have much time playing now) horrible, especially in first person mode. Got in so many crashes and trouble with the NCPD.
Finally playing this, just did the heist mission after a while doing fixer and NCPD missions and events. Great so far, although I'll miss the hell out of Jackie
