ST Daisy Ridley (Rey) in the ST

Bless. She has her Rey buns (as the news people quickly worked out) on.

 

Yes, from the front, Daisy has the business as usual look. But, from the back screams, "PARTY!" She could just sleep afterwards on the long flight home today before stepping into Rey.

Daisy was considered one of the 10 best-dressed at the Oscars. Take that forum-dislikers-of-Daisy's-Oscar-attire!

 

Haa haa, never disliked liked it, just thought it was 'meh' basically because she is so beautiful and young she didn't have come across as older tan people perceive. Still gorgeous though.

 

She attending THE big event in Hollywood, and had to get up on stage in front of most of the entertainment industry's elite and powerful.

I can forgive her for wanting to project a certain "maturity" in that particular situation.

 

I am crazy shallow when it comes to glamorous dresses for events like the Oscars. I don't care one way or the other about the Oscars, but I love to see the creativity and style that comes across in the gorgeous dresses.

I don't really love the look of DR's dress from the front (love it from the back), but I feel like she pulls it off because I consider it very youthful, yet elegant. I also like it because it's interesting. The Rachel McAdams dress, also on that 10 best-dressed list, is a perfect example to me of a dress that is boring and predictable. It kind of looks like a prom dress to me , whereas Daisy put some style in her choice.

 

My standard is simple. "Does the actor or actress look good in the outfit to me?" and in Daisy's case, the answer is most definitely yes.

 

I loved Daisy's dress! It was simple and beautiful which I find to be the best kind of Oscar dresses. It's the ones that try to do too much that get ridiculous.

That MTV article made me way too excited to see Luke and Rey.

 

This talk about Daisy's outfit has been a bit frustrating. I know people hate walking on egg shells when talking about stuff like this but it kinda sounds like she is under some sort of obligation to look beautiful enough, young enough, or not too mature but still professional or whatever and that for some reason her outfit needs approval or justification? I know no one probably meant this...but still. If you think she looked good, that's great. Otherwise, who cares what she is wearing? She's Daisy freaking Ridley and she could wear pjs or a giant gaudy ball gown and it wouldn't matter to me.

 

Did people remember what she was wearing in the first "cast reading" photo, because I do? It was pretty "casual," she was wearing sneakers for goodness sake. And you know what, she STILL looked really good.

Hey her and Adam Driver mostly just staring/making intense faces at each other ended up being one of my favorite scenes in TFA, so there you go.

 

But its true love those scenes were metaphor's of making love, they are most important part of the film

 

Every time I see TFA now I look at that scene and the Finn BB-8 thumbs up scene and a couple others that if the actors weren't that great would have been soooooooo bad. They really got a fantastic cast.

 

Do people prefer Daisy with her hair up or hair down?
