We do not, and never did, have plans to release a new Star Wars series each month in 2011. We do have new series planned, but not 12.

At the Retailers' breakfast, Dark Horse PR guy Jeremy Barlow, after mentioning that there were going to be a bunch of new Star Wars series launching in 2011, said something like "there will be comics from at least one new series every month." That somehow got misconstrued as "one new series launching every month."

 

OR, they could just do a semi-monthly Dark Times run...

 

I don't always agree with Randy but where Rich is concerned, yeah, always be a tad wary - though to be fair to Rich, Bleeding Cool is a flagged rumour site.

I was sceptical on this as no way do DHC have the resources to do 12 SW titles, it'd be nice if they did but it isn't harsh or cruel to say they don't.

 

Shows how many folks read the main page lately.

 

At least it's still a "bunch". That's fine with me.

 

Heh, it'd be insane if they did launch that many. It'd be wonderful, but also insane, and also not very likely to happen, well... ever. Oh well, not like it matters when we already have Knight Errant and then Legacy War coming in just another few months. Just another few days till KE. *continues staring at clock*

 

Guaranteed failure if they did that, yeah, simply for the reason that not enough people would be able to afford to follow all twelve.

Be nice if they did, but it's just not realistically viable.

 

Imagine the (post Legacy) HEAT that DHC would take if the story at the other end of Coop's link was actually true....

Randy would find that: this site TRULY is, still packed with haters.

 

I'm not so sure SSS.

If it were true people would do what they're likely doing now - dividing stories into buy ASAP (monthly) and buy later (TPB) groups but to a much larger degree.
