I am being realistic after we only gotten Clone Wars spin offs and Sequels.

 

Which are spin off’s and sequels to the clone wars ?

 

Bad Batch, Tales of stories, Maul Shadow Lord, even Rebels.

A question was asked, which I presume was really more of a rhetorical question since there's no way for any of us to give a real answer about it. But I also presume Fred's answer was just his opinion. I don't think the odds of a Luke, Han, and Leia animated series are necessarily that low, but I don't think they're very high either.

I think it comes down to Filoni on whether there is an animated series for Luke. He seems to the producing all these animated shows. But he also likes to keep within what he is used too.

I feel the only reason we got rebels was because after canceling Clone Wars, Disney likely told him to make a show in the empire era with some new characters. While i suspect Disney ain't as pushy today as they were back then.

Well yeah but its about Maul. Maul was part of Clone Wars. Its a progression from Clone Wars.

The Bad Batch was also set in the Empire era. But its also a progression from Clone Wars

While Rebels at least started out as its own thing with Clone Wars characters gradually popping up in series 2 onwards.

 

There is Clone Wars connective tissue in Rebels, but the focus of the show was far less prequelist than Bad Batch (and presumably Maul Shadow Lord will be).

Really it came down to subplots featuring Ahsoka, Rex, and Maul. But the Ahsoka thing was largely done by the end of Season 2 with an epilogue in Season 4, Rex kind of just assimilated into the Rebellion story and Maul was really only in maybe 3-4 episodes across the whole series.
