Do we really need an Icon and a banner with the same images on?

Perhaps we should have an earlier deadline for one of them.

 

Name decided first. Then icon. Then banner.

Its looking pretty clear that BIFF is the name of choice - the majority want it.

Then I suggest we decide between the 6/7 icon choices on 16th. Then, hopefully, we have some idea how the banner will be looking.

 

Yes, what I was saying was that that particular gif is much better suited to the banner rather then the icon.

No, whether that negates the "Dangermouse as icon" campaign, I don't know.

What is probably true, is that we can wrap up the name before the next week.. as the mandate seems to be pretty much towards BIFF.

It may be easier to wait for the new RSA to join Alphawolf and then have them make an "executive decision" on the ICONS-Banners, otherwise we could go round in circles for long time.

ok it's just seeing both the icon and banner with the same pictures on is going to be a bit much I think. Hense why I say about one deadline earlier, does that make sense?

 

AW made a forum announcement saying he was stepping down (on this page somewhere) - he is staying on the board though.

 

maybe DM in an icon is TOO much detail but for a banner i think it looks great- with a few other things maybe SW related. but not too much.

 

AW as far as I know is staying as RSA until we get a new one.

 

Are we getting two new RSA's or one?

I actually like the idea of have a theme for both the banner and icon. After all they are linked. Having DM in the banner and on the icon could work IMO.

Ok its my quick and serious attempt, it has a bit of star wars in it, but the tag line could be better

Any chance of merging the Union Jack right across the background or merging it with the Republic of Ireland's flag?

 

I've done a new banner using the Danger Mouse image. No flags on it although they could be added... Apologies for the lame tagline - I ran out of inspiration after getting the image right...

Good banner Westford, altough not sure about the catchphrase.

I definitely prefer the Carlsberg one and the one with Chris leea nd Maul on it.

It's a shame we can't have the Carlsberg cos it is a good one. Hmmm, but if people really like it, and they seem to do, we can use it on the website somewhere.

 

I love the DM one. I also think the tagline on the "villian" banner is quite funny!

 

If anyone is interested you can take a look at the banners on my site (the link is on my signature). It's shared with my best friend, Ismene Resin (other wise known as Ally or Ally-kin and also a member of the Jedi Council Forums). We both write the content but she does all of the banners (if I did I'm sure my computer would be a steaming wreck by now). Anyway the point is if anyone likes the style of our banners then I could probably get Ally to make custom one. However I already know that there are a lot of other banners in the running so you probably aren't in need of any more but I just thought that I would try and help.
