The Mynok

In David Cronenberg's first ascent (or descent) into the extended SW universe, Jeff Goldblum plays an aging Sith lord, Darth Sethius Brundelis, who is looking for a key to immortality by teleporting his body into younger clones. However, the first time he uses the machine, his DNA becomes merged with a Mynok who happened by. Watch in horror as a CGI de-aged clone of him slowly transforms into the ugly creature until a tragic climax where he latches onto the Millennium Falcon to electrocute himself to death.

 

I'd watch it. Seriously. Indeed, I'd watch an 8-season TV series about it.

Prepare to see a soon-to-be beloved holiday classic that'll be played 6.2 billion times on the Disney channel during the holidays for no apparent ****ing reason enjoyed by families everywhere.

You gotta have Yoda in there too somewhere. Maybe Maz and Yoda had a thing going on way back when. Maybe Yoda taught her some force stuff and that is why she "knows about the force" but isn't a Jedi. Maybe they were lovers and had a lovers quarrel and broke up. That is why Maz is on Takodana and Yoda swore off women and joined the Jedi.

How about a mini-series called The Tom-mynock-ers, starring Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa. Breha and Bail are walking through the woods behind their home on Alderaan when they discover a buried flying saucer that had been piloted by a mynock named Tom. Tom the mynock was strong with The Force, but not strong enough to keep from crashing into the woods. Bail and Breha excavate the crash site, unalderaaning the saucer. The Force ghost of Tom Mynock posesses Breha and she begins to design all sorts of unusually powerful weapons that had been inside of Tom's mind. She even designs the first Death Star and has it delivered to Count Dooku on Geonosis.
The final scene:
Crazed Breha tells Bail: "The design of the Death Star is now in the hands of Count Dooku."
Bail: "And so it is."

 

Unlikely because it would be prequel era....but an awesome idea, and the clone wars deserves a chance to return in live action.
