    Be careful there. Just because some of us said there was absolute truth, that doesn't mean we believe it's "objective and verifiable". Personally I think there are absolute truths and relative truths. I don't think that means the absolutes are verifiable, though.

    Though obviously ZAP disagrees...

    I wasn't directing it at people who believed in absolute truth. I'm thinking more along the lines of ZAP's various, frankly confounding, statements about absolute truth in history and verifiable knowledge and all that.

    Well, I didn't suspect you were making a generalization, I just wanted to hold my hand up there with a notation ;) I think we're pretty much all in agreement that ZAP's assertions make little sense.
