Did Anakin get kissed in front of Yoda?

Two entirely different situations. Leia is kissing a friend (she has a boyfriend whom she loves so we know there is nothing romantic between her and Luke) while Padmé yells Anakin's name and then rushes over to him and kisses him. She didn't run to Obi Wan and kissed him. I think Yoda would have had some nasty comments to say to Obi Wan if he had seen Padmé kiss him in this fashion. And it is a passionate kiss. Maybe not like in the love pledge but more than a friendly kiss.

 

Yeah, I agree with some said . It looks more like a brother-sister kiss stuff than husband-wife kiss.

 

Yeah, it was a friendly kiss of comfort, not a passionate one. She only gave him a short kiss on the mouth, then there was just hugging. Obviously(to Obi-Wan and Yoda), the two of them had become really good friends during their trip and Anakin had managed to keep his emotions in check(again, from Obi-Wan and Yoda´s point of view).

It would be very difficult to tell whether or not Yoda cared, because even if he did, they had far worse problems to deal with. They just lost approximately 200 Jedi, fought a droid army with a clone army they didn't know about (presumably), and Count Dooku the Sith Lord just got away. Anakin and Padme kissing would be a back burner issue, whether they took issue or not.

I think Anakin's attachment and relationship with Padmé was about as transparent as glass to both Obi-Wan and Yoda by the end of AotC.

Due to the fact that it's so ingrained in the beliefs of the Jedi Order, Yoda most likely thought nothign of seeing Padme hug and kiss Anakin. His first thought would most likely just be that it was a hug of friendship or just being happy that he was alive or that they won the battle....sort of.

If a priest were to see another priest hug a woman that he knew, he would most likely not assume something was going on between them. Just that they were friends.

 

Maybe not by what he saw, but what he sensed is an entirely different ball of wax. When Anakin wanted to save his precious Padmé and was confused as to the proper path, we cut to Yoda who sensed it all. The kiss was the final confirmation, if that.

 

But who says that Yoda senses Anakin´s attachment to Padmé? He senses that he is in turmoil over leaving Padmé to her fate, but there´s nothing to suggest that they´re lovers.

 

Who else has ever had an attachment other than Anakin? Certainly not that sloth Oppo Rancissis.
