Did Han have ANY Relationships with 3PO and R2_D2?

I don't remember him socialising with the two droids except telling 3PO to Shut up in the astroid feild.

 

Well the EU has given Solo a history of not liking droids too much.

As for the movies, well, Solo had a relationship with Threepio and Artoo. Those two droids Solo eventually ended up caring. I believe Solo could count all of his favorite droids on one hand, but he was certainly friendly to Artoo. Perhaps because Artoo would backtalk to Threepio and annoy him.

 

Well, he didn't like Threepio's personality. But I think he had a secret thing for Artoo. I mean - he didn't yell at him half as much as Threepio.

Come to think of it, Did Han spend any significant amount of time with Artoo? During the movies anyway? As far as Threepio and Han's relationship, let's just say Chewie wasn't real pleased.

Han couldn't care less for either one of them. "What's so important? What's he carrying?" and "Shut him up or shut him down" bring this out clearly. Han is the man. Droids are annoying. And Threeps is a big pain in the case!

 

You know come to think of it Han really does like droids. He got all chocked up when he had to let Bullocks and Blue Max go. Also he did nickname Threepio as "Goldenrod". Also, Han waits for Threepio on Hoth when he could've left him behind. Shoot, the Falcon's computer is run by 3 droid brains.

In ANH, I think the droids are just kinda... there as far as Han is concerned.
Han and R2 barely share a scene together in ESB, but he spends quite a lot of time with 3PO. Lots of time to hang out on the way to Bespin. In ROTJ, it seems to me that Han deals more with 3PO and only gives R2 a disapointed smirk when he gets fried at the bunker door.
R2 only seems tight with the Skywalker kids. Doesnt seem like anybody else really cares.
3PO annoys everyone, but they all love him anyway.

The better question is whether Leia had any relationship with the droids. "Hidden in this R2 unit", "we've lost R2" (she shows no compassion), "ma'am, where are we going?" (she has no idea and doesn't really care), when 3P0 is missing on Cloud City, she notices and seems to care, but seems a bit more perturbed about it than concerned. She shuts 3P0 off, very coldly. That seems about it.

Did Leia ever like Chewie? She calls him a big, walking carpet, yells at him after Lando is done getting choked, kinda rudely "CHEWIE." He's supposed to take care of her, but that doesn't seem too comforting for her. I think that's about all they do together...maybe Chewie helped her wound on Endor's moon ("Chewie, get down here, she's wounded"), but we didn't see that.
