Did Sion know something about Revan???

When you ask him about Revan in KOTOR II, he just states it doesn't matter because he betrayed the Sith's chance of an empire. Could he have known what happened to one of the most awesome guys in SW cannon??? Just throwing this out there

 

Given the most recent Old Republic Timeline video, it would seem that he is referring to the fact that Revan betrayed the Sith Emperor who allegedly brainwashed him.

This fits in well with Sion's revised(but less cool) backstory, where he was a Sith Warrior in the Old Sith Empire. Technically, Sion was from the same faction of Sith that attack the Republic in the upcoming MMO.

I still like Sion's original backstory better though.

 

No. The CG Sion backstory has Sion a marauder in Exar Kun's Sith Empire.

As for Sion's lines in KotOR II, he's referring to the fact that Revan turned back to the light side and left the galaxy instead of choosing to embrace the dark side and impose Sith tyranny and order upon it. That's it.

 

Wasn't it possible in KOTOR II that Revan had gone back to the dark side rather than to the light, or am I misremembering?

 

In the early sections of KOTOR 2 when you're establishing what you did in the first game through dialogue you can choose the "dark side ending", but if I remember right KOTOR 2 states that Revan light or dark eventually left for the Unknown Regions, so either way Sion's words are relevant.

man that's a good question..i'm more than sure that the Sith Triumvriate were well aware of alot more about Revan than we were told..besides Kreia trained him..but i'm with you Ki-adi..I want details!! More likely Revan betrayed the Sith Master and went back to right his wrong.

Revan's story; as narrated in TSL, was what THE EXILE said it was. But, our 'memory' had no bearing on Revan's actions. If we said he was a light sider, he left. If we said he was evil-personified, he still left. So, it looks like your memory is still intact.

What I can't recall for the life of me, is if Bastilla's Korriban holo was straight from the game, or if had been modded from cut-content.

 

I don't think it was cut, but IIRC there was a bug that didn't allow it to be accessed without altering the game to fix the bug.

I don't recall being able to access it in-game, and if that was the case, this would explain it. Maybe I had selected the wrong KOTOR 1 ending earlier and just didn't want to start over to reset Revan's history. Or is the bug only in the PC version?

 

It was but, as SSS says, he left either way -- refusing to unite the remnants of his Empire -- and thus Sion hates him.

 

Not so. Providing you'd gone with a dark side Revan, you could access Sith!Bastila's hologram. It was possible in both Xbox and PC versions, sans patches/mods.

 

I must have been confused about how the holocron is destroyed when you blast open the door if Revan was selected as light side at the beginning of the game, rendering it inaccessible. I thought there was a bug that did the same thing with the dark side Revan.

 

I never experienced it on either platform. Maybe it was possible but not guaranteed?

Kreia's mechno hand, was the MOD to get btw. Team gizka ever finish that thing?

 

Team Gizka has been dead since last year. The mod to get is Darth Stoney's Sith Lords Restored Content Mod. It puts in everything that Team Gizka was going to have, as well as having compatibility with the Ultimate Saber Mod, and hopefully soon compatibility with Stoney's own M4-78 Restoration Mod.

Just don't mention Team Gizka at DeadlyForums, where TSLRCM is hosted. You'll get a ton of flak about how their mod was being "covered up" on the Wook because it didn't have enough sources.

And don't bother going to the Team Gizka forums either, at times, it can look like 4Chan with the behavior and attitude.

 

Its been a LONG time since I last logged-in @ the LucasForums site for "Holowan Labs" and their MODS. Gizka always seemed just anotehr day or two away, for like three years... so yeah, I quit going there.
