Can’t wait to find out it was actually Kennedy pushing for Luke to be in the finale and watch the absolute meltdown from the civil war clowns. Excited for this.

 

Sheesh have to wait 6 weeks. Man Disney + drags everything out. Will be nice to see Hamill doing whatever they had him do. Not looking forward to an in-depth look at the poor excuse for CGI that was his "de-aged face" though.

 

If my dates are correct it will be the week after the Bad Batch finale so weekly content up to that point.

 

This is great news. Listening to Filoni and Favreau talk about the Mandalorian is wonderful.

 

Good time for a rewatch, then. Well, maybe on the 20th.

And you know this how? Or are you just hypothesizing? I wouldn't have my hopes up, unless they lie about it to make her look good.

On topic, amazing news. I cannot wait to watch that episode of Disney Gallery.

 

Half joking at the idea of a meltdown from some people who refuse to acknowledge KK’s positive impact on Mando and other SW projects and are convinced there is some civil war ongoing at LFL.

My point was even if that was the case there would be those that would refuse to accept it. If we get clips of her on set during the finale or interviews where she is positive about the story it will mostly likely be painted as “lies to make her look good”, when the more likely answer is she’s on board with the direction of the show, the contents of the finale and that there is not some secret bad blood between producers.

 

I'm looking forward to finally seeing how they pulled off that magic trick. I'm especially curious about the voice. That voice was the RotJ Luke voice - the question is can Mark Hamill make his voice sound younger, was it "vocally de-aged" in post-production, or did they find someone who can do a phenomenal impression.

 

There's a pretty long distance from "being the one pushing for Luke" (which I would bet there is no chance of having happened) and "secret bad blood between producers". Maybe, just maybe, she just told Favreu and Filoni to do whatever they wanted, and then she was on board with it, because there was absolutely no reason to not be on board with it. And yes, if anyone in the world tells me that KK was the one pushing for Luke to show up, I will consider it a lie to make her look good unless there is undeniable proof for that. This reminds me of all the "tHoSe weRe LuCAs' iDEas" statements from people who want to gaslight anything Disney has ever done and people didn't like.

 

God, I love Dave Filoni!

George really picked a great guy in Filoni to carry on what he created! Him and JF have just turned SW around in my book. Not perfectly mind you, but still, two guys I'm really enjoying helming these stories/shows/media. In my best Rick McCallum voice... "Just Fantastic!!"

 

Brilliant. Jon and Dave just get it.

 

I love seeing how much this show has already taken advantage of and continued to advance filmmaking technology.

The discussion of the ethics of these new techniques was important, and interesting for a while, but I soon found myself wanting Jon Favreau to stop talking about responsibility and get back to the episode itself!

 

Ahsoka is Luke's senior lol, so she stilk the best around.

 

Filoni talked about her better combat skills compared to Luke and why they didnt make him more skilled as he hasent trained mutch.

 

He was talking about Luke having a less refined fighting style than Ahsoka because he wasn’t trained as long as she was. And I mean anyone who’s seen Luke’s baseball swing style in ROTJ would recognize that. It had nothing to do with power levels.

 

I meant more as a skilled fighter and she is the senior fighter.

Also Ploo Koon live action appearance when, its No way they used that head only for fake scene and being funny. Come on Filoni do the dream and bring back Ploo Koon.
