do transformers have sex? and other questions!

Let's put this one to bed:

1)is there a smurf type situation going on here? are transformers asexual?

Clearly, Transformers are not and never have been asexual. There's just a strongly skewed gender ratio. Also consider that we are seeing primarily those who were involved in the Cybertronian Wars--military personnel. Perhaps, like us, transformers don't like to see their women shipped home in body bags on the 6 o'clock news.

2)was that green dude who could change into three things in transformers the movie like the third wheel?

As has been ppreviously stated, he was a jerk. He could kind of fight, though. Either way, he wasn't supposed to be getting in the way of the Arcee/Hot Rod romance.

3)and if they don't have robot sex but are like 'created', who is the god? is unicron like satan? actually i do vaguelly remember a philisophically zen type back story to all this.

Primus. Primus and Unicron=Good and Evil. Kind of has a Zoroastrian feel to it, more than anything. I never bought into that, though. Alternatively, the Quintessons created the Transformers. (The "Has his majesty reached a verdict?" "I have?" "Guilty, or Innocent?" "Innocent." "Feed them to the Sharkticons." guys).

4)Anyway, if they are created, is the god incredibly sexist?

Again, I would refer you back to the point aobut it being a military campaign. Although both the Quintessons and Unicron had some strange judgement at times, so we can't rule out the possibility you suggest altogether.

5)I thought arcee could hold her own in transformers the movie; she did a lot better than the autobots in the ship at the beginning, anyway!

That's kind of like saying that Batman Begins was "better than Batman & Robin, anyway." It doens't mean anything.

6)Does Megatron use a lightsaber in transformers the movie? and hot rod too?

The technological equivalent, anyway. However, they seem to have less cutting power and lethal potential. And they don't deflect blasters. Based on these differences, no.

7)If unicron could control galvatron, why couldn't he just control all the autobots too?

Unicron controls only those he has rebuilt/built, because he built control mechanisms into them. This would be Galvatron, Cyclons and the Sweeps, Scourge and the Huntsmen. End of story.

8)and is it just me, or did things just go really bad for unicron when he transformed?

I didn't think so. Or the timing was coincidental, anyway. As a planet, all he can do is take blows. When he's transformed, he can fight back (and quite effectively, at that). It

But, while we're on the topic, I never thought about transformers having sex. But what about the Ninja Turtles. April was always hanging around, one of them must have gotten lucky.

Anyways, My best guess is that they DID NOT Have sex while transformed, rather, they "Rammed" eachother while in car form while swapping er.... white paint shall we say?
