Do you have a favorite background detail in the arena battle ?

Well, do you have one,i like the background shot when the acklay picks up an battle droid, shakes it and then throws it away. This can be seen in the beginning of the battle when a battle droid limply closes in on Obi-Wan and then he slices the droid in two with his lightsaber.

 

Does Kit Fisto's smile count, after he force pushes 3PO?

ITs hard to pick just one. I thought i saw a jedi punch a droid. that seems like it could have hurt.

Although it isn't in the background per se, I liked how Mace was blocking blaster shots while he was falling from the "observation deck" and simultaneously pulling off his burning cloak. Sweet stuff.

 

aye, the observation deck shot was really cool..

also, when teh jedi adn droids charge at each other, you look in teh back ground and theres jedi's jumping form the ledges on teh arena floor

 

Oh its all good.

 

I particulary like it when that one Jedi drives his lightsaber like a stake into a fallen droid

 

In the background when Anakin and Padme are chatting. In the backgroung you can see PLO KOON fighting very acrobatically. That is cool. I waish they could have shown him taking down a few droids. (not in the background.)

 

yeah i love the part when the jedi are charging the droids and in the background you see Jedi jumping down to join the battle.

 

for some reason, there is one jedi back there wielding two lightsabres and doing some damage, and now i see him everytime i watch it. He's pretty badass.

i love, and wish it had even more embellishment, the 200 jedi all igniting their light sabers at the same time. i had such hope......and i'm sure mace was right there with me

 

I like when Obi-Wan does his little one handed figure eight twirl while he is deflecting laser bolts. Right before the Acklay comes looking for revenge...




But that wasnt really in the background was it...

The Jedi with two lightsabers rocks

 

Obi-Wan bending over to check for a pulse on one of the fallen Jedi.

 

The Driod realzing that his legs arent moving well was hella funny! As well as "Die Jedi Darks'.

I also like the part where Mace Windu shows up at Count Dooku and then all the other Jedi Ignite there sabers.

Watch on the left as the Reek tramples Jango. As it skids to a halt and turns around for another charge, look for the light-haired Jedi on the left choppin' up droids.

 

Personally, I'm a fanfic-meddler: I write my own characters and try to stick them in. If you look in the background of one of the arena shots, you'll see a fairly tall human woman with black hair doing flips and stuff. She might be one of the "officially recognized" Jedi, but as far as I'm concerned, she's Naroko Chiston.

 

I agree with some of the earlier posters about the Acklay tossing droids about. That was cool. The background Jedi fighting was sort of uneven, though. There are some cool shots and moves, but some of them are clearly shots of actors standing on green screens who were told to "just sort of wave your stick around, we'll put some stuff in later." Given the odds they were up against, some of the background Jedi tended to display a bit too much lethargy for my taste.
