Do you Like Anakin Skywalker? Why?:D

How can you judge his character in a movie that hasnt been released?

I think Anakin is way too whiny and I have little sympathy for him because of that. I just want to tell him to shut up and more often then not, I just skip his scenes. He becomes way cooler as Darth Vader.

 

pretty much cuz he is cute, that is all he has goiung for him

 

I like him because he's very similar to me in a lot of ways, negative and positive.

 

He's cool. I like him mostly because he experienced both the Light Side and the Dark Side ~ both most important things in the SW story.

 

In TPM he was too young to be credible as a mechanics wizkid, and too much of an accidental hero.

In AOTC he was devoid of any qualities, was a highly negative and immature individual, and was written as a unremarkable jedi with a penchant for idiocy disguised as inexperience.

Most of the development appears to have occurred off-screen between the two episodes and Anakin has definitely suffered as a result. Jake's Anakin and Hayden's Anakin are so far apart, it's a wonder how anyone can claim that they play the same person.

 

i like anakin cause he's a fox ...in AOTC obviously.

Episode 1 - Only redeeming quality of Anakin was when he pointed at Qui-Gon just like he later does as Vader in the OT.

Episode 2 - Horny bastard! Thinkin to much with your groin is why you lost your arm.

Episode 3 - Anakins acting had better be much better than the previous movies, or the transition from Anakin to Darth Vader is going to be pretty hard to swallow.

Episode 4 - Ultimate Anakin/Vader. No redeeming qualities whatsover. All he's got to do is be the Emperors henchman, walk around all day choking people to death and torturing princesses. No worries, life is good.

Episode 5 - Of course, anytime that family gets into things, everything gets screwed up. Anakin/Vader starts getting mushy over his boy, starts feeling that need to connect with a fellow "human". Starts losing his Sithhood.

Episode 6 - Anakin/Vader = watered down version of former self. Family and job conflicts distracting from main goal which is choking people and acting a bad a. In the end, I can't even reconcile the egghead in the Vader suit with the Anakin from the PT.
