Does Anakin look like Anakin?

I dont think that hayden and jake look similar. i just cant see it.
But i do think that leia and padme had some similarities in their looks, so that's cool, the casting that was done there was good

 

So what about Leia and Luke... Do you think they look like their parents?

Its amazing, but I see a very good similarity between the 4 of them.

If you can imagine it...

"Leia" has "Anakin's" nose and bone structure, teeth, shape of her eyes (i.e. physical features), and "Padme's" coloring. She has "Anakin's" temper/impatience and "Padme's" diplomancy. In all she is more/alot like "Anakin".

"Luke" has "Padme's" features, but "Anakin's" coloring. He has her patience and wisdom, and his dad's obvious whining problem.

I think casting did a very good job esp. Anakin/Leia.

I guess i didn't see a good resemblance before because I only compared Luke to Anakin and Leia to Padme. I didn't bother to compare mother to son or father to daughter.

I still don't think that Jake, Hayden or Sebastian look anything alike though.

 

I think that Leia and Padme look perfectly like mother and daughter.

Anakin and Luke have the same coloring... could possibly be father/son, I mean, strange things happen, I look NOTHING like my mom but a lot like my brother.

As for Jake and Hayden... they look enough alike. Kids change a lot sometimes.

I wonder how much Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin2 (eu Anakin) look like Padme and Anakin. I know by the cover of "Dark Journey" that Jaina looks a lot like Leia, which would like her to Padme..........What do you think?

I have no problem with the Jake-Hayden connection; that transformation video over at the OS is quite convincing evidence of that bit of casting. But it's going to take 30 buffalo shots over Tokyo to convince me of the Hayden-Sebastian connection. I've tried to make it fit in my mind, but it comes up all wrong. Sebastian had a larger frame than Hayden does...so how did Anakin gain so much weight between the PT and the OT? Does the Dark Side make you pork up as well as age?

And as for the matter of Palpatine, I'm not sure I buy that "the Dark Side aged him" logic. In the prequels, I take it that he's supposed to be in his 60's. So, in the Empire era, he would have to be in his 80's. And in ROTJ, he looks about that age, albeit with some physical differences that may be accounted for by his DS addiction.

I think all the actors have facial qualities that are very similar. I think casting did a good job with Jake, Hayden, and Sebastian.

 

Yes, in The Phantom Menace, Anakin looked somewhat like Luke Skywalker. As mentioned above, Jake Lloyd's hair is more straight. Hayden Christensen's hair is a little curly. Well, the way I see it is that after Anakin gets his hair cut and sports the padawan braid at the end of TPM, his hair sort of stays styled that way and begins to curl until the time of AOTC. Also, Obi-Wan Kenobi also had different hairstyles in Episodes I & II.
