Even seeing it the 5th time around, I choked up seeing Ki-Adi getting shot down, and Anakin confronting the Younglings in the Council chambers. Anyone else?

Specifically, did anyone else feel in Ki Adi Mundi's case that there was almost
a sense of, i knew this would happen, in his face?
    Or am I transposing?

Nah it looked to me like Mundi was thinking "why?" when he got killed.

And yes it was very sad, which was surprising to me as I was waiting for them all too die since the momemnt ep.1 roled along.

I thought it was more a look of shock and "Oh no".

I think he figured out what was going on rather quickly.

same with me dude, all six times seeing it I nearly cried everytime. I knew it was going to happen, it was inevitable...and yet, I still had a little voice in my head screaming "no, definitely won't happen" (later screaming "watch out behind you!! Nooooooo!!).

Best sequence ever in a SW movie. So.... powerful. The three parts that made me nearly cry were the music as the Clone feet.... stopped, behind Ki-Adi, the music at it's most heart-rending as it panned over Felucia, and Yoda c lutching his heart.... oh God I love that sequence.

I don't know what it is about Mundi, but I just always get a feeling
of precognicized resign in his response. As if he was always waiting
for that moment and dreaded it's arrival.
It reminded me of Paul in Dune, when the moment of Chani's death and his
blinding happens. As though he knew it would happen and was just biding his time.

Well, I had worried that since we do not really get to know the Jedi, that I would not choke up during this scene. But this was one of 3 scenes that I choked up, the other 2 being when Vader draws his sword against the younglings when the young lad asks him what are they to do, and when Vader chokes Padme.

It looked as if Mundi was thinkin...

"After all we've been through together, this is how how it ends..."

Poor guy was getting shot at from both sides, it was a miracle he was able to deflect as many bolts as he did...

During the 5th time I saw it, I was sitting next to a little boy (about 4 or 5) and his mom. When Palpatine gives the order, the boy said "This is the part!", and his mom covered his eyes.

The boy asked afterwards why he (Anakin) did that. :(

I was literally crying like a baby when I was watching all those Jedi Knights being murdered by the Clonetroopers in various scenes, especially the one where the Jedi youngling died protecting Bail Organa.

God, yeah, I TOTALLY choked up - I was really impressed with the music they used in this scene, it`s unlike any score used in any other SW film. Even my non-SW fan sister was impressed with this scene, she said the battle scenes playing in this bit reminded her of films like Saving Private Ryan.

EDIT yeah I totally forgot about the young Jedi trying to protect Bail, that`s totally heartbreaking but pretty kick-ass at the same time!

It was a highly emotional moment.

Especially seeing Anakin entering the Council Chamber and supposedly killing all the Younglings: 'Mastah Skywolkah - there're too manay of them... what're we supposed to dow???'

    Poor lil' guy [face_worried]

I have seen the movie something like 50 times, now, and I have cried every time.

It is one of the most powerful scenes in the entire saga, and JW's score is absolutely perfect for it, too.
It is a heart-rending piece of music.

The sadness from the scene doesn't just come from seeing the Jedi die, and watching Yoda's pain; it also comes from knowing that Anakin had a choice, and that he has chosen to betray his family....

    **sob**
