i will say that the movie is what i wanted and that is what i got all the rest and no jedi temple attack that blowed I did like the other sceens.

hey half-wits! how's it going? staying clean and sober, are we?

So, I have a question noone else seems to have brought up. How are we going to know how much the dvd made in one day? Is there a site somewhere that keeps track of that? Just wondering!

good question km12, I am staying sober, but on Saturday night I punished myself. 10 frineds or so got together, most of my homies from high school, we had a pony keg and a 40 dollar huge bottle of jaeger. I hurt till 7pm on Sunday, even though the Chargers won, I was in pain.

well Km12 , if ROTS did any huge numbers, it will be ALL OVER THE NET,
if not, we will get FIRST week data, asi we did for BATMAN BEGINS, which did 4mil copies for first six days hmm, not bad, but I was thinking for OPENING day such number, not for whole week...

You can't put deleted scenes in that don't exist.
The only superfluous Temple stuff was a brief shot of Vader striding down a corridor, and Shaak-Ti's alternative death in her private quarters.
Clearly, they opted to use the longer Invisible Hand version of Shaak-Ti's death instead.

 

Maybe there's something on the Fox news site?

 

I do not recall there ever being said that there was going to be a scene about the Temple being attacked. So I do not know why you are so upset when that scene was never going to be included in the deleted scenes. It came out a while ago about what deleted scenes were going to be on the DVD. SO again I am not sure why you are upset whenb it was clear that scene if it ever was filmed is not included.

My prediction: 9.5 million

 

I really don't think that piracy issues will affect the sales that much. I know several people with a bootleg copy and they are all planning to buy it anyway. Especially with a SW movie where the sound and picture are such an important part of the experience, everyone wants it for their collection. No bootleg will ever do this movie justice. I've watched both now and it's just not the same on a subpar copy. I predict huge numbers both early on and in the long run. Maybe not record breaking, but close.

Hey, Xeno, halfwits, km12, redsabre, Marek and smauldookie. Missed you I have[face_alien_1] . I had to have my DVD at midnight on 11/1 which meant going to the Evil Empire(aka Walmart) and I went in costume(Padme sleeveless outfit when she gets choked) but I was the only one in costume(didn't care). That Hellmart closes at midnight but stayed open for 1 hour so you could buy ROTS but they didn't have Battlefront II. You had to go to Customer Service which is right in the front of the store to buy it. There were about 20-30 people waiting with me and the Ravens were still playing on Monday Night Football(and still had a chance at winning but they played better). I hope we broke some records because it's Star Wars and I said so!!!
