Welcome Cyrin, good to see you here. It was great speaking with you, and I know we met at Conglom... kinda... (my memory of the panel is horrid) because my dark side was rattling threw my nerves. LOL!! My first time speaking on behalf of the Dark Empire, and I hadn't been a member but a couple of months. (Whew!) Things happened very fast for me within that endeavor, and I wasn't very sure of myself at the time. Anyway, I'm looking forward to actually meeting you in a relaxed situation. Again, welcome my dark sister.

 

Fret not my sister, and yes it was very good speaking with you. I can't wait to meet you at the meet and eat on monday!

Looks like (again) all the cool stuff will happen while I am working. See you all there at 2:00pm on Saterday, and then again on Sunday for the award show where I will get my heart broken again (or maybe not, that E-Wing is pretty sweet).

I didn't see it listed, but the print is so small, I could barely make anything out. Hmmmm.... I wonder who's heading up the Star Wars panel at "Wonderfest"? I assume it is slotted for 10:00am on Saturday morning? Looks like Appo and I will be there at 9:00am tomorrow morning. (Saturday) Maybe I can volunteer to represent The Dark Empire again. Not nervous about it this time.

I didn't find how much it costs to get in anywhere, I'm going to assume about 30.00 to 40.00 per person? And it is at the "Crowne Plaza" formerly the Executive West, right off of the Watterson X-Way. Good deal.

I was going to anyway, but especially now that I know there is a Star Wars panel, I'm Sithing up for this... I'm going in my Burgundy robes this time and leather armor skirt.

I hope to see lots of you there!

 

Where exactly should we meet you Jammies? Also, where is your stuff going to be on display?

It looks to be about building Star Wars models (if you click the + sign the text gets bigger). I would further assume it may be about the studio scale models on display from The Empire Strikes Back. So, I really doubt they need any help, or that they would talk about fandom in gerneral or costuming. However, it looks to be a really cool session. Sucks that I will miss it. Having you there in costume would be awesome! I know you will turn some heads (as allways).

Oh, also: they are displaying Studio Scale models from The Empire Strikes Back.

I will get there about 2:00 on Saterday, and am looking forward to seeing you all, but also some folks from around the world that I only get to see at WF, plus some good friends from my hometown. So, I will be a little butterfly. WF is basicly 3 rooms, so I am sure you can find me. My kits will be in The Amazing Model Contest room, off to the side of the dealers room. With me getting strep this week (I know!) I only finished 3 kits, but I think they look awesome (an E-Wing in New Republic Colors, a TIE Phantom on an asteroid, and a TIe Schimitar, fromt he Thrawn books, flying over Tatoine).

I appreciate it, and all the well wishes for the gang. I just, I don't know, I got a bad feeling about this year. Even though I feel I got some really good entries, even better than my award winning ones from last year, I just gotta bad feeling. I can spot some flaws that I know the judges will look harshly at. Of course, that could be my fevor talking to.

Wonderfest is a different kinda con, but I hope you all enjoy it half as much as I do. It's my christmas.

Wow guys, I started getting some kinda sinus infection last night, and the right side of my sinus is hurting pretty bad... not to mention the body aches I have with it. We aren't going to make it. This sucks.. it came on pretty quickly. When I began feeling bad, it was fast. I have chills and feeling swimmy to boot. I haven't been sick all year. Pooh-Dooh! Jammies, good luck my Jammies... and "Break a leg".

 

Aww, Poor Zannah.

That was me on Wednesday, la la la doing just fine and then bam-- I got strep with a sinus infection, that I still can't shake. So, I sympathize. It is so weird too, who gets sick in May? I take my vitamins, i excersice, why great pumpkin why!?!

Oh, and thanks for the well wishes too, but if you really want to help- go into the contest room at midnight and break all the Trek kits. I sware, if you do a non-Trek kit that is like instant minus 25 points.

I won't be going myself since I have to work (actually there now reading the boards), so I wanna see pictures of the models.

Also, if anyone else goes, hopefully there will be some other costumers there and you can snap some pics of them too?

Jammies! Your models are awesome! If you don't win something, well... they don't know an awesome model from a hole in the ground. Thanks for all the great pics Bulbous! Dang it... I broke fevers all night last night, the healing force was flowing threw me all night. I broke the last fever about 4:00am this morning, nuthin like waken up on a pool of sweat... however, the body aches are gone, and I'm the way to recovery. I'm so sorry I missed this.. I was pumped about being a Sith cheerleader for you Jammies. However, I'm still back here in the wings, thinking about you, and knowing the judges announcements will be made shortly. My thoughts are with you! Get em tiger!!

I picked up to Merit Awards, a type of Honorable Mention. No medals this year, but at least I didn't go away empty handed!

Congratulations Jammies although, as I said yesterday, I thought they both were deserving of medals. Too bad the Trekkie judges or whatever they were didn't agree.

Jammies, Claudia WAS super nice. I wish I could have spent more time with her (and I know she does too) but I had her sign so much stuff people were backing up behind me. I'm looking forward to hearing the behind the scenes scoop on what kind of a guest she was.
