I still don't know if the Debra and Syril story line is worth our time investment. I can still see it going nowhere in particular. And then it was all just a lot of drama about nothing. Same with the Mon Mothma story line. But! The Cassian story line was good in this episode. And Andy Circus is a great actor.

No. It a genetic modification put into the clones which they are compelled to obey. This same genetic modification also rounds off some of the sharp edges in Jango’s personality. It reduces individualism to make the clones better at following orders and less loners and more team players.

Right. But Cassian is already on the ISB’s radar. Dedra just convinced the ISB an unknown rebel they are calling Axis (Luthen) is operating on a much higher and more coordinated level than the ISB had any idea.

The ISB thinks Axis is involved with the heist and they know Andor met with Axis. Andor likely escaped the planet with Axis.

To use your Earth analogy, it's like looking for a fugitive in Germany, finding out that some **** happened in Brazil, and deciding that the two things must be connected based on the suspected master mind of the heist having personally met with the fugitive in German immediately before the heist - and possibly even left Germany together.

When the fugitive breifly reruns to Germany immediately after the heist, the fugitive claims to have plenty of money and vaguely matches the description of one of the people involved in the Brazil ****.

I think the connection checks out.

Eh, I think that’s not an accurate analogy. It’s more like chasing a mysterious art thief in Brazil (a thief that you suspect has been gearing up for a big hit) and then the Mona Lisa gets stolen from Louvre. I would show the witnesses a picture of the art thief’s only known accomplice.

Yeah. The ISB is after Luthen. They want Cassian because he is their best connection to Luthen.

The Jedi needed the clone army just in case their first plan of having the whole order stand around in the open low ground to be used as target practice for robots somehow didn’t work.

You have a strike force of 200 space wizards at you disposal and that’s the best you can come up with? Really?

Sip-dyas would never have been able to answer for his actions to the Jedi Council, so it’s extremely obvious that Dooku or Sidious are behind his death and disappearance. Get it together it’s not that hard

This prison break/Snoke origin story side quest is pretty pointless

    Jedi don’t take things personally.

He went to report to him in person. Still nothing suspicious about it.

In a galaxy with names like Skywalker, Solo, Savage Oppress and Saw, Tyranus fits right in.

Thank you. Attack of the Clones is flawless. It is art. It is the embodiment of, the pinnacle of cinema, a one in a million glimpse at all the follies of the human condition. If the world was disappearing in a thermonuclear blast and I could only save one film from complete annihilation to offer survivors and their descendants the only remaining understanding of their humanity, I would send Attack of the Clones.

If the JC forums were closing down and were erased from the internets I would want to save that post as a reminder of what we lost.

This is the plot twist from the mind of the people that brought us Kenobi and Book of Bobba Fett are hiding from the viewers : Andy Serkis character in the show, as punishment for the obvious prison break, will be the sbject of dark side experiments and will become the Snoke we know and love
KEEP THE INFORMANTION ON THE DOWN LOW

I’m going to be honest I can’t think of anything less like this show than the DCEU.

sinister: It’s not about whether they “take it personal.” Even after they forgive him, the fact that he tried to murder his “employer” is a pretty huge clue that the Jedi aren’t actually his employers.

JSSD: “Fyre worm” mythology notwithstanding, I really didn’t like the reinterpretation of krayt dragons as sand worms from Dune/the bad guy from Tremors.

The DCEU is not a franchise formula anyone should be trying to copy right now.

What I like about this show is we see the impact of the Empire on different levels of society, from the average person right up to the elite.
It's good to finally see what the Empire does to people that made Rebellion necessary.
We get told in the OT that they're bad, but apart from fighting the rebels we don't see why.

I'm looking forward to the prison break episode, it'll be interesting to see how they do it

The very first time we ever see one (as a skeleton in the desert on tatooine) that's exactly how they look.
So how is it a reinterpretation?

There are at least two types of Krayt Dragon anyway

I’m just as much looking forward to any more info about what’s really going on at the prison.

It’s one of those retcons that isn’t a retcon of anything on screen or in a tv show. There is some art work Ralph McQuarie made after the movies depicting four legged krayt dragons. Video games and EU book followed that look of lizards with four legs.

As you said - the one we see in A New Hope is a big sand snake. Legless.

I'm really starting to think the denizens of this forum don't want to enjoy anything. This is the best Star Wars has been in a long, long time.

I’m not convinced that vast Rube Goldberg machine of a prison slave labor system is cheaper than automation. Andor’s “cheaper than droids” comment, spoken with such conviction, is a red herring. Among the many significant teachings of AOTC, speaking of that flawless masterpiece, is that the GFFA has discovered automated assembly line manufacturing. They don’t just pop autonomous droids in wherever a human would do labor. They probably often do that, eg you wonder why the senator has a human chauffeur, but they know that there are alternatives. It’s not just a binary choice between humans and droids.

Does the work in the prison serve any sort of purpose for the outside world or is all the labor part of the prison’s experiment in control?
