Adam Sandler, the scourge of American comedy, has a new movie coming out this weekend. It's getting terrible reviews, and it's being released alongside DOFP. Hopefully it flops spelling the decline of awful American humor.
Not that it matters, but here is an ADF (Australian Defence Force, ie the Aussie military) report on the helicopter Beezel mentioned before: http://www.researchgate.net/publication/27254322_S-70A-9_Black_Hawk_Helicopter_internal_panel_cracking_investigation]HERE[/url] Basically, the helicopter can't use its external fuel tanks which ends up limiting its effective range, probably because of the extra weight Beezel mentioned. So I guess there is one exception to the rule that anything the US can do, Australia can do better. I suppose such an exception had to happen once in our lifetime. Because the US still sucks.
Now, I'm not sure if this one refers to all of 'Murica, or is a regional thing. But they're called roundabouts, not traffic circles. It's much the same as how forks are called forks and not food spiking things. Ah, but I will also rag the UK (and possible alot of the world) here. Minivans are called people carriers. Not only is it quite an awkward term, but it could also refer to just about every type of transport ever used or ever conceived. Stop it!
What is sad is we do make lots of big trucks and SUVs. But believe or not US car companies do not make any full size sedans anymore. Not Ford-GM-Chrysler. Now all the German companies do make full size sedans Mercedes S-Class BMW-7 series and AUDI A8/S8, ok so VW only made a few of the V12 full size cars a few years ago. Hey I only own and drive German cars except for my old ALfa Romeo Spyder and my huge 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham which is what a real full size US car should look, drive and feel like. US cars after 2 bailouts and still making mostly trucks, suvs sad, sad, sad. Our country does have many problems that we just let happen we can only blame ourselves-illegal immigration anyone? The Mexican/Spanish speaking population is projected to be over 50% by the year 2050. I am glad to be 47 and either dead or close to it by that time. We get to the MOON in 1969 now we cannot even send a US astronaut into orbit unless we ask the Russians to let us hop on a 1970s era SOYUZ, sad, unforgivable, pathetic, lazy, etc. Calofornia was #1 in Education in the 1980's we are now 50th out of 50 States. Its a joke, in Ca the prison budget is 2.5-1 over the education budget and rising. The USA has 25% OF the entire worlds total prison inmates whiles only 6% of the population and we are the world superpower? Over 2.3 million prisoners in CA alone. Sorry guys I love my country, spent over 20 years teaching Jr.High/HS. My family all are educated hard working people who pay taxes. My father fought in the Korean War, he lost 4 brothers KIA in WWII, I lost 2 Uncles KIA in Vietnam (one on a PBR like the boat in Apoc. Now) Iraq. Afghanistan giving money to the UKRAINE instead of our own people. its B*******, if you are going to defecit spend you do it on your own people like FDR's new deal building infrastructure and creating jobs for US Citizens. This Planet in general is simply becoming over-populated. In 1941 the US POP was 140 million today about 340 million. Look at China and India between them 2.5 Billion plus at least the planet cannot handle this much longer. I feel sorry for all my young students who are inheiriting a huge hole to dig out of. And for the love of GOD let RUSSIA annex the rest of Bloody Ukraine its debt ridden and been a Russian province since the 14th century. Let then figure out the financial issues of saving the UKRAINES economy. John Kerry what a frakking moron giving them 1 Billion Dollars. Ummm......they owe Germany 38 Billion already and god knows how much they owe RUSSIA. Damm that felt good. And I am just fine rollin in my 2005 S500 or my 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood with a 427. Oil is not in the top 10 when it comes to serious problems long term for the planet. Oh and while we are at it why the **** doesnt the USA have a giant orbital Space Station of its Own Forget the ISS. Something much bigger with the ability to assemble a large spacecraft piece by piece and start planning for MARS or something bold. People need to go back and watch JFK's speeches that is what this country is all about not 250 languages in LA county. Christ, I have applied to the Imperial War Museum in London for a position. I am divorced and have no kids. If I have even a whiff of a chance its worth it to fly over to Heathrow just to show them I am serious.
Tengo 42 años, planeo aún vivir en 2050 porque estoy saludable; y de todos los problemas en mi país, la necesidad de hablar español con más gente está al fondo de la lista.
http://in.reuters.com/article/2014/05/23/australia-coal-deutsche-bank-idINKBN0E30OG20140523 Guess Deutsche Bank is the VLM of banks?
Privileged kid goes on stabbing and shooting spree. This is unprecedented as there has been no Juliet thread. Haha, Michael Moore is fat.
HSBC have followed suit too FYI. However, what that article doesn't mention is this; “There is no consensus between UNESCO and the Australian government regarding the expansion of Abbot Point in the vicinity of the Great Barrier Reef. Our policy requires such a consensus at the least. We therefore would not consider applications for the financing of an expansion any further,” he said. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/c616fd0a-e249-11e3-89fd-00144feabdc0.html#axzz32iVnFzuP Given the lack of consensus and inherent reputational risk it makes sense for them to walk away. You will note that a) At not point does DB give its view on the actual environmental impact, and b) Nothing in your article or indeed mine contradicts the piece put forward by the chair of the GBRMPA. So it's more that you remain the VLM of political analysis, Vivec, yes. 100% so. A few key takeaway points: * French firm Societe General has obviously found a lower residual reputational risk rating (and go alliteration) in their assessment and continue to fund part of the expansion * The main campaigner against the expansion is one Tony Brown, a tourism entrepreneur. With the assistance of GetUp!, an activist group, Mr Brown was able to apply significant media pressure to Deustche Bank, including taking out a full-paged ad in the European Financial Times. Deutsche's key market is Europe, and its footprint locally is quite small, so the backlash from European investors was likely high. However, from what I can read of GetUp!'s involvement, none of it seems to align with or acknowledge the points made by the GBRMPA's chair. So, in conclusion: Whether one supports the expansion or not is irrelevant. A lot of people have spread a lie globally, and when the lie is swallowed by ignorant but well meaning people who can't admit fault, such as yourself, it's able to affect all sorts of outcomes. Maybe Abbot Point's not in the interests of both the nation and the planet, but the debate was founded on lies, hysteria, supposition and willful ignorance. You, a scientist and otherwise intelligent person, was part of a mindless collection of sheep who ran around bleating mindlessly without comprehending why. I wouldn't go so far as to say you're typical of what's wrong with society, but only because I've no desire to be that mean.
'Murica, can you either get rid of your guns (and suddenly discover as a nation you're a lot smarter, almost overnight) or just shoot at one another until you're all gone? This isn't ok anymore. And none of the "yes, but, in Somalia, there's crime!" comments. That's naff, and it makes you a bell-end. You can maybe have guns back when you behave like adults.
You're starting to repeat yourself, now. You gonna bitch about the missing 'u' from color tomorrow, or perhaps something sports related?
Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Never mind that the **** who did it was born in Britain. Dog/stable/horse etc. (that was at ender, btw)
It's Monday morning people and I get up at 6am every day. I was up to 12:30 last night watching the Monaco Grand Prix. GIVE ME A BREAK PEOPLE I'M STILL WARMING UP.
