And that's about it.

Reloaded is my favorite Matrix movie and probably 2 hrs I wished I would have went to the theater. Too bad when I was just turning 17 after it opened.

Conan is campy but it's still watchable. Even after some of these other films.

TPM I love. It's a great film despite what many critics say. I had reservations in the past, but looking at it 7 years later, it's a great movie.

 

The Godfather III couldn't come within a universe of being as great as parts I & II, but it was still a good movie.

 

Most of them are bad compared to the original movies, maybe-- but there's no way they're the worst sequels ever.

The ones in bold I liked and could be replaced or not even made this list. Dumb and Dumber 2 should have been in the top five.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets should have made the list.

 

Excellent call. Same goes for Blade Trinity. It ruined a solid franchise.

 

Jurassic Park III > The Lost World

 

Bah. Blade Trinity was an awesome movie!

 

At least Exorcist II: The Heretic didn't make the list. That's one of my favorite sequels of all time!

Well, maybe if the list had been compiled 10 or 15 years ago...

And SithSense is absolutely correct: Jason X seriously blows chunks!

Trinity was horrible. They made Dracula really.. uncool. To say the least. And they blew up Whistler!

I believe Superman II should be up there somewhere, but not in the top 20. Yeah, I said it.

EDIT: Not that Dracula was cool, anyway.

 

Why isn't 2 Fast 2 Furious up there? Or American Werewolf in Paris? Granted Paris wasn't as bad as it could have been. But given how great the first one was, this one sucked big wind.

 

Stayin Alive was like having my eyes torn out and eaten by the monkey from Outbreak.

 

Obviously the folks at EW have never seen The Brotherhood II, III, IV, and V. By far the worst movies ever made, and as they are sequels (to a movie that is just as bad as they are), they fit the bill for this list.

 

The Godfather III should be number one when compared to the sheer AWESOMENESS of the other two. It has, by far, the biggest drop off in quality from GF II to III than any of the others. GFIII is a friggin' travesty.

 

I agree with the entire list except for TPM, which I thought was actually pretty good. Not nearly touching the OT, but still pretty good. Then again, I love all the SW movies, except for AOTC, because it felt like a filler and not much else.

 

I would say that Cinderella II: Dreams Come True is the worst sequel of all time, and all the Land Before Time sequels tie for second.

 

Interesting, because EW gave TPM a B- but AOTC got a C+. Now, that is just one critic, but it is still funny.

 

QFT, AOTC should replace TPM in that list.

AOTC was far worse than TPM.

And where the hell are all the Land Before Time sequels? Those alone could have made up this entire list.

 

This is quite old, but I'll this:

#1 should have been Baby Geniuses 2. Only reason its not there, along with SOTM is because the list was made before they were released.

 

If you enjoy Land Before Time dinosaurs that talk to each other, sure
