EXPLOSIONS IN LONDON!!

Well, when you ring someone, the phone discharges a small current to answer, that way you can hook up the battery to some explosive - ring the phone and boom.

 

They certainly seem to have achieved that if it was their aim.
I don't think the aim is always to kill. The aim is to make you realise it can happen anytime, anywhere and to anyone.
Fear.
Whatever other goals they have, they have succeeded with putting fear into everyone.

 

Yeah...Fear is a brilliant ally if it works for you... Just listen to what tarkin says in ANH and get the thing about fear you will...

 

A terrorist's aim is to cause terror. And if it is terrorists, they've certainly done that.

Feel a bit spooked - only just missed getting on the Piccadilly line train that exploded at King's Cross. Got to the tube station this morning and it had just been closed - just a few people outside - gates closed and police officers outside.

Nitrate based fertiliser, some other compounds I'll not list incase people get the wrong idea and a suitable container and boom!





I have a feeling these will be a touch more sophisticated but remote detonation can really be done with anything that can creates a surge when it recieves a signal.

 

But phones are the easiest thing to get hold of, you can pick up a phone for £30 and it will work brilliantly. If a simpler solution is available they will take that. If it was explosives i wonder if its C4(Plastic explosive) or some home made explosive... Hmmm.

Bad stuff to have happen to such a great part of the world.

 

I was whatching the bbc news flash - when my freinds office in westminster phoned to say they are closing down westminster and most of the city -

early reports say terrorsits .

 

Mrs Seabrook said the bus was travelling from Euston to Russell Square and had been "packed" with people turned away from Tube stops.

"It was a massive explosion and there were papers and half a bus flying through the air, I think it was the number 205," she said.

"There must be a lot of people dead as all the buses were packed, they had been turning people away from the tube stops. We were about 20 metres away, that was all."


Definately too well organised.
Everyone knows that when the tubes go down the buses get busier.
