Ahsoka Ezra Bridger (spoilers)

I like the idea that Ezra has been pulling little raids on Thrawn's operations during his exile with his new band of rebels, like he did on Lothal.

I'm afraid we might indeed see a massacre of his shelled friends when the Night Troopers show up, perhaps mirroring the Lars Homestead in ANH.

 

Some of them will definitely be killed for sure.

When do you think Sabine will tell Ezra about how she got there? I could see Ezra asking again and then right before she can tell him Baylan, Shin and the Night Troopers show up and there's a big battle. Presumably Ezra and Sabine will escape and Sabine will tell Erza the full story as they're hiding from the enemy.

 

Yeah, I think there's going to be a crab bake at some point.

 

We're getting the Noti version of this...

 

Big time! On that note, I was surprised how much I liked the Noti. They could've come across as too cute and corny but it worked for me. Than again, I never had a problem with the Ewoks and only learned decades later that some people HATE the Ewoks.

Though this time we have 3 witches instead of 3 wizards, and their "gifts" aren't that great.

Ezra’s chainmail is made from Stormtrooper dog tags.

 

Had ~10 years to catch up to Chopper's body count and that's all he managed?

 

He'd have to kill the night troopers multiple times to come close to Chopper's body count.

 

To me the Noti are how the gungans should have been. Love them.

 

Those original Gungan designs were far superior to what they went with.

 

I believe those were Doug Chiang designs. He never fails to impress.

 

Invariably, Ezra will comment on Sabine and his second lightsaber. She probably won't feel confident enough to keep using it while he's around. Or she'll tell Ezra she'd rather have him take it back. Either Ezra has another lightsaber, he'll take it back, or he won't use a lightsaber for the time being.
But I don't think we're getting a hermit moment where he takes it and chucks it behind him.

I thought they kinda did Ezra dirty this episode by making him be bested by Shin after quoting Yoda of all people, implying he has grown wise and enlightened "The force is my ally"

Well, he should have done much better than be knocked unconscious instantly by someone else using the force, then. Kind of unbelievable to be honest.

This is someone who has tapped into the dark side and knows the power that can allow an upstart like Shin to access without training hard. He has fought inquisitors and held his own. So... why does he get overpowered? He is powerful himself. Is he surprised? He shouldn't be. Sabine warned him ahead of time.

 

This was one of the last things I heard about leaks regarding the show. I am going into the final blind. But the leaks said he would be using force karate which he was but this was more just mostly normal karate and defense

 

@Darth_Accipiter He's not Yoda, and he's not infallible.

 

Ezra surprisingly had very little to say about what he's been doing the past few years. You would think he'd have spent some time trying to understand/interfere with Thrawn and the Nightsisters' plans, but if that's the case, we didn't get any indication of that in this episode.

 

of course not, But as someone trained in the force himself as fans of rebels know and as he so boldly proclaims, he should have done better. He doesn't have to win, but he shouldn't be knocked out in one force push. That's lame. Shin is no Sith and she's an apprentice herself. She has shown nothing that she should be capable of overpowering Ezra so simply. If anything, it should be an even match between the two.
