I got reunion! WooHoo! Its good so far. ESPecially the Tahiri/Riina parts.

How much time has past since SbS now?

 

Almost 2 years? If each hardcover represents a year then Destiny's Way was a year after Star by Star and Unifying Force is a year after that. So maybe a year and a half.

 

Wow, I've really missed a lot! I don't really mind though. I tried picking up other NJOs recently, and it's not the same without Ankin.

Well, if they don't give her a valiant send off in battle I wouldn't mind her getting together with someone else. Hypothetically of course, Zekk would be a pretty good idea. His YJK version was enough like Anakin to make me like him.

I'd much rather see Tahiri with Zekk, though, than Jacen.

 

This is sort of off topic but if you've forgotten some of the YJN stuff (like myself) the new Insider mentions that they're coming out with some combo novles (or whatever the fancy name of multiple books in one is), regarding the YJN. 1-3 are in the first edition, 4-6 the next, so-on-and-so-forth. And for $8 each that's not bad.

And may the Emperor himself have mercy on those poor Del Ray saps if they put Tahiri with anyone but Anakin, because I certainly fething won't.

However, I have a theory which actually requires Anakin to have died. Before you barbeque me, listen. Anakin went Primarch mode during his last stand, and they were, when near-death, capable of performing feats which they couldn't normally, in the case of the God Emperor ascending to true god-hood (What? You didn't think his > than supernova level psychic blast came from merely being heroic did you?). It is entirely possible, even likely considering what he managed, that Anakin ascended, becoming far more than a physical being, but still retaining that form.

It also accounts for him being apparently killed, as several Primarchs have been killed, but in the current 40K timeline, their wounds are slowly healing. Unfortunately, Anakin's family messed this up by burning his body while it was regenerating.

 

Sounds like a good theory. The reason why I mentioned those YJN books is to let everyone else know, and also cause I don't have any of them and want to own them, lol.
