My french knowlegdge is somewhere along the lines of Nin's, je ne parle pas français. Oú est le fromage? Excuse moi, oú est le translator?

But I know some norwegian! Hvordan har du det? (Sadly, that's about it.)

Hmm, hmm... I think I can speak portuguese... But I'm not sure of that anymore.

aka shiru is strange...here's what the dictionary says: (i don't know japanese, remember? )
aka -> dirt , (kanji different from dirt's) red, crimson, scarlet, total (ex. aka no tanin -> perfect stranger), stark
shiru -> soup, juice, or to know (different kanji)
and i can't find gui in the dictionary

well... i may not know how to spell it right
but i have some idea
aka = red
shiro (maybe it's chiro?) = white
gui (maybe it's gi?) = +-clothes; special clothe ?

(i have no dictionary, it's all by heart)

Anyway.. since you have the dictonary put me here the translation to the following:

I took 3 years of Spanish in high school. I should be able to construct a few simple sentences.

Rox, portuguese != spanish
portugal not part of spain.
it's almost like comparing spanish to italian, and saying that spain is a part of France.

Just wanting to make sure ppl know that.
Many think portugal is a part of spain. And heck, i really don't know why ppl always think that. :\

I think Rox knows perfectly weel that Portugal is not a part of Spain , otherwise, this fanforce wouldn't even exist and I would have a different title.

Well, White, all of us here know portuguese, and probably, most of us can speak and even come up with some written sentences in spanish. The vocabullary and even sentence construction of latin languages are somewhat alike, even if spoken Italian seems very unlike spoken Romanian.

I think Rox meant to point that out. Having a training in a latin language (that has resemblences to portuguese) he should be able to construct better sentences.

white, 1. adj. shiroi (lacking color); aojiroi (pale); hakujin (no) (race). 2. n. shiro(iro) (color).
shiroi translates back to white, so i guess that's the most commonly used form... ?
i can't find anything writen just with gi or ji... maybe it's a technical term? ?
taxi is takushii (it's an imported word )
teacher is either sensei or kyooshi. kyooshi is just teacher, sensei can mean more stuff
more words, just ask

 

Pronto, já foi mudado (como podem ver) a cor das letras q a anya e darkwoman tinham dificuldades em ler devido a monitores mais escuros. Mudou-se de preto para branco. Presumo que agora já consigam ler.

Eu hj estava a olhar para a nossa board e lembrei-me...

criar um banner a comemorar o 25 de Abril. Eu sei q ainda falta tempo, mas é com antecedencia q tenho q o fazer... E tb n acho q seja uma data qq, acho q é uma data importante, apesar de eu ainda n ser vivo na altura. Acho q ajudou Portugal a tornar-se um sitio melhor para a minha vinda. E n creio q deva ser ignorada.

Eu realmente gostava de o poder fazer, desde q o resto da malta aqui n se importe.

O q dizem? Iriam curtir, n iriam curtir, importam-se, n se importam?

POr mim não me importo desde que não fique 3 séculos depois para eles tirarem e voltarmos ao normal.

Which reminds me... tenho de ver se arranjo tempo e imagens para fazer uma versão diferente da banner... Ando à procura de:

1 - imagens da ponte vasco da gama
2 - imagens dos Jerónimos
3 - imagens daqueles barcos do douro que levam o vinho (nunca me lembro do nome)
4 - imagens da torre dos clérigos

Não garanto que irei usar isso tudo na banner, mas quantas mais imagens tiver à disposição melhor será a escolha de acordo com o resto das imegens.

Anyway... se alguém quiser contribuir melge-me por aqui.
