Let's just say it should be nominated for several Razzie awards this year.

Saw it at a midnight showing last night...

Didn't think it was that bad, but I don't read the comics... Just go along to the movies with friends...
Considering that my expectations and character knowledge come from just the first movie... I was not unhappy..

It was entertaining... Kind of short though...

Don't know that I would see it multiple times or anything...

But not necessarily crap... I've walked out of worse...

Would you spend $16.99 on a Special Edition DVD that included 6 alt./deleted scenes and a 30 minute making of special?

Bah, Ghost Rider was crap. Compared to the story David Goyer(He may be good with script writes, but I'll never forgive him for screwing up the last movie of the BLADE Trilogy) wrote for it, MSJ's Ghost Rider was a freakin' kids movie(Which, technically, it was). Here's hoping they get rid of him and have someone revert GH to the way it was made in the comics; dark, gloomy, and mature with some slight dark humor added in. If they do that for the second one, I'd sure as hell spend some cash to see it.

    I haven't seen FF4 2, but I just hope it's better than the first one(Especially Dr. Doom).

Saw it. No worse than the first, for sure. Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm were the only interesting characters in the entire movie as far as I was concerned.

    My son liked it, though...

Pretty much sounds like the first, from the way you put it. Though Jess Alba's eyes in this one are effin' creepy. Looks like she's agot laser eyes or something.

Pretty much expected. It seems the FF4 movies are Marvel's kiddy movies. Oh well, can't be as bad as Batman and Robin.

Just saw the flick. I liked it a lot. I thought it was much better than the last three movies comic book based movies I've seen (Superman Returns, X-3 and Spidey 3). It's not a really serious film, but it was really entertaining and enjoyable. My wife liked it so much that she can't wait to see the next installment.

Yes, Jessica Alba looked like Nemo at times with the fake blue eyes, but she was totally smokin when she wore her glasses and gave Mr. Fantastic a back rub.

As for the actual Silver Surfer, he is as cool and smooth as he is in the comic book. I really like the way he looked, unlike the Hulk. The way the movie ended, it's all set up for a Silver Surfer spin off movie.

I liked it. I agree with the Jessica Alba's eyes thing. They should have just left out the freaky blue contacts.

I just got back from seeing it tonight. Is it just me,or did they do the whole "Sue switching her powers with Johnny" bit so we could see Jessica Alba undressed AGAIN?

On the Jessica Alba thing, I've come to the inescapable conclusion that she's a horrible actress. I believe that in the past I was distracted by her hotness, so I didn't notice how bad she was. However, in this movie, she had the ridiculous blondeness going and the creepy blue contacts. To me, she looked downright freaky and certainly unattractive. So now that I wasn't dazzled by her sexiness, I could actually pay attention to her performance. Lo and behold, she's pretty much horrible.

    But that's just me.

I thought she was decent in the Dark Angel series. But then again its really easy to get distracted by hotness in that show.

To me, she looked downright freaky and certainly unattractive.

She wasn't that bad in the film, but they laid the make-up on her thick. So I agree about the freakiness...too much make-up! And the blue contacts, they didn't look real though I didn't find it unattractive, just stand-out-ish.

    ***some spoilers****

Anyway, I certainly liked this one a heck of a lot better than the first FF4 film. A couple of things didn't click and should have... for example, Thing becomes human two times...so don't you think he'd want to stay human? He wants to be Thing his whole life? Powers-swapping was funny but I wouldn't want to have a rock face my whole life.

And the reason for Silver Surfer saving Earth is because he thinks Jessica Alba is hot? YES...that's why he saved planet Earth!! lol, he reminded him of his hot girl back home. :p

Liked it overall. Hated the Cosmic Cloud Galactus(tm) though. And Reed's response to the "quarterback" comment was pure ownage.
