Yoda's lines are so good mainly because of the delivery, and the wonderful puppeting work (which I think helps explain why he isn't as good in the PT!).

I used to think "Empire" kicked "ANH"'s butt in the wit department. Actually, I still think so. But now that we've been living in the prequel universe for four years, a recent viewing gave me a whole new appreciation for the original.

ROTJ is the best movie for Threepio. He gets much better lines here than in the PT!
