The February meeting will be 2/18/17 at 1pm at the main Denver Public Library with tour of the Power of Costume Exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. Let's aim for the 3pm tour time. Also, for the meeting, bring a dessert to share.
As of right now there are 64 tickets available for the 3pm time slot. We can always enter the rest of the museum earlier and can stay in the exhibit until 5pm. This Saturday! We will meet in the Rockwell Room, which is on level 4. Lunch will be on your own as we will have a dessert potluck at the meeting. Hope to see y'all there.
February get together - stuff we talked about Roll call/topic: What is/are the "Last Jedi?" Next Riff-It Friday event - Friday, February 24 at 7 pm at DWRD/FF's house. The movie that we'll listen to the Rifftrax for and riff ourselves will be...Batman and Robin! Specific staging information and other details will be posted when they are available. Denver Comic con - two panels have been submitted: the trivia/game show panel and one in partnership with Denver Public Library. Hopefully they will be approved and more details/recruiting info will be posted! We should know by mid-March if they are approved. SW Celebration - April 13 - 16: felicity Jones will attend and sign your stuff for lots of money. Rogue One DVD release is rumored to be April 4. The new SW book: Empire's End will be released today, February 21. Check it out! Treasury report: $175.18. We haven't been asked to spend any money on float upkeep/supplies this year. March get together will be at IKEA in Centennial, March 18 at 2 p.m. We'll meet in the cafeteria. Hope all who live in the Southern area can attend! and, P.S. we aren't calling them "meetings" anymore, but "get togethers" and no "notes" but "stuff we talked about." We're more informal, now!
