FF-UK Scotland meet - Glasgow - 23rd/24th June 2007

I think I have, but don't mind seeing again It was a whistle tour last time, my gf was there to see the Indian collection.

 

Kelvin Hall has only recently re-opened after a two year refurbishment.

Most of the old display material has been updated and rearranged....

 

As long as their Stormtrooper is still there, I'm happy .

The 23rd sounds good to me, I get paid the day before.

Meet up, lunch in a local hostelry! shopping trip (FP, A1 etc. Suzi wants to spend money apparently) and then I thought depending on the weather a wee visit to the necropolis! cool and rather spooky! but of course it's a democracy so open to suggestions!

 

Would be nice to head to the west end and go to Kelvin Grove Park and maybe some of the pubs along byres road/ashton lane

Hi, I just came back to these boards for the 1st time in too long.

Someone fill me in on this meeting!

 

Arabian, it's all in the threads above but essentially we've got a two meets this weekend, Saturday pretty much in Glasgow city centre and Sunday, the West End including a picnic in Kelvingrove park, Tone do you have an itinery to post with times etc for the Sunday?

 

We're meeting at the Kibble Palace in the Botanics at noon. Weather permitting we'll have a picnic there and then saunter down Byres Road and finish off with a meal somewhere (I vote for Dimaggios - I always vote for Dimaggios!).
