Hmmm all of those are very good choices. I recently played a game called Unlimited Saga (which really stunk) bit it did have a FFX-2 preview with my girl Rikku in it, kicking butt! Rikku is my favorite because I have the same personality as her and she is close to my age! Anywho, back to Unlimited Saga....worst. game. evar! Don't play it if you like to see the CGI stuff..this game had no cgi!! The story line was confusing too! 8 characters all with a different story that don't really have to do with each other.....*frowns* I mostly watched the FFX-2 preview!!!

 

How does FFX-2 look? I bet it's awesome.

 

From what I've read, its got the best gameplay in the series (the new battle system, jobs, and alternate story paths). Hopefully the branching storys won't weaken the overall story. There's 5 different endings (well, more like 4 1/2).

 

The Only thing I've seen of FFX-2 (that I have on my computer) is the opening sequence of the game. The graphics certainly look AMAZING! Seem to have come along in the graphics and movment departments for the characters. Looks beautiful! Definitly one game that will live up to the hype. Like always!

 

It looks AWESOME!!!! I think they made rikku look less "japanese" than in the first one. It shows Yuna singing....mostly in japanese...then it has a short lil preview of the game shots *drools* I cannot wait till November 3,2003!!

As for the Roll Call, yeah. I'm not familiar enough with all of the FF characters to really give my input, but from what you guys have come up with (and the lovely picture list Obi put together), y'all are doing a great job picking people.

The game comes out November 3, 2003!!! Get your wallets ready!!!

 

Not to spoil anything, but one of the endings is a bad ending (meaning REALLY tragic). I believe one of them is kinda sad, and the other 3 (or 2 1/2, depending how you look at it) are good (some better than others).

 

I wanna see all of the endings. This game sounds like it has amazing replay value.

 

The game has a completely new soundtrack from FFX, so it will be weird going to some of those familiar locations in Spira to different music.

Speaking of Spira, one of the things I really like about FFX is the world which it creates, how it goes into its beliefs, culture, customs, religion and entertainment.

I just beat FFX. I'm so proud of myself.

The ending was so sad! I cried. Let me tell you somethin', if Yuna doesn't find Tidus in FFX-2, I will write a scathing letter of complaint to the FFX peeps.

I really want to play FFVIII now. I need another RPG to play or else I don't know how to rid myself of the feelings of bereavement and bereftness that come from beating a truly great game.
