ST Finn/John Boyega Discussion Thread

After TLJ...

Finn: How was your day?

Rey: You will never believe it. I met Luke. Then I decided I sorta-kinda love Kylo Ren now and tried to save his soul. I met his boss. We killed him. Then I came back. Hugged you, ol' buddy. And that's it. Leia says I'm in the Resistance now. What about you?

Finn: I woke up from my coma that Kylo put me in, the minute you left. Tried to find you. Met Rose, who tased me for trying to leave. Then Poe sent us on a secret mission to a Casino to find a Code Master that Maz knew, so that we could take down the FO's tracker, in order for the Resistance to get away. I just wanted to help out the group, like Han taught me yesterday. But we ended up in jail for parking in the wrong spot. While in jail we met DJ, who was totally suss but we trusted him and he helped us escape. Then we immediately snuck onto the Supremacy where he betrayed us.

Rey: Wait, I was there. Killed a bunch of guys. And cried because Kylo wasn't going to hold my hand like my dream...

Finn: Then we were totally caught. I killed Phasma though. Again. And we just barely made it back to base. Then we hatched a plan to defend the base against Kylo, who wanted to kill us, and I decided to sacrifice myself to the greater group - again. But then Rose flew into me and told me I was a dummy and that we needed to save those we love.

Rey: Sounds like a busy day, dude. You must be in the Resistance too.

Finn: Nah. Leia says the official papers are in the mail though.

There is one character here who is wayyyyyy more committed to someone at the expense of every one else. And it's not Finn. But sure, keep on arguing that he's doing it wrong.
