If you were stating out the Liberator-class...what would you do for it?

Personally I would go with 1000 meters and comparable weapons to the Victory-class. 3 squadrons of fighters and multiple shuttles

 

I thought it had ISD-level fighter capacity in game at least?

 

Yes both ships have an official capacity of "6 squadrons", although there's no source on its shuttle capacity (I'm guessing 1 squadron may be interchangeable with 2-4 shuttles depending on their size).

 

That is what the game and strategy guide has. I am talking if you were bringing it back into nu-canon and could start from scratch on it.

To me there has always been a dearth of ships in the 800-1000 meter range. So to me that is what I would do with this...help to fill that gap.

 

Well you know me, I like my battleships to be pure battleships, so if I were to start from scratch...no fighters. And just whatever number of weapons you can fit on the thing.

Just seen Ascendancy book 1, out, as well, though have not dived far into it, yet. Also purchased Resistance Reborn, at slight discount.
Liberator usually claimed around 400 metres long, isn't it? Like the Gladiator-class, the hangars look quite low ceiling-ed, though.

 

It looked strangely familiar for al these years, but I never made the connection until now..

 

Huh. I'm inclined to assume that's a coincidence, because I've always assumed those little protruding portions at the Raider-class's rear are inspired by a TIE interceptor's wings. But if so, it's a weird one.

Looks like the MC95 was already in service during the late-GCW era. This is the E variant, so the other variants plus the MC90 were likely in service by then.

I take it as a given that all the "new" Resistance ships in the ST were made post-Endor, pre-Jakku.

 

Heh, MC140s might be running around 35ABY Mon Cala for all we know.

 

It says the short was made in conjunction with ILM, so maybe they just grabbed one of their movie MC assets without realizing.

 

Is this the first time we’ve seen a tie survive re-entry at high speeds? I know fighters can enter and leave atmo, but I assumed those were usually in a slow controlled manner. And TIEs don’t have shields which I assume would help protect rebel fighters better.

 

It seems a BIT pointless to make what seemed like a new design, so much older (just like they did with Interdictors, Interceptors, Nebulon-Bs and many others, I gues...) Wonder also if it's based on the animated model from Rebels season 3, for the Home One, as a basis? For things like size, etc..

I've been trying to decipher this ship from The Battle of Exegol. According to a tweet by Leland Chee it's called "Bowbreaker Corvette" and it has the bridge of a Corellian Corvette and the turrets of a Hammerhead Corvette. Here are my results:

I kink of love it. How long is it supposed to be in-universe?

 

And heavily armed too, I suppose all these turrets on the same are either the CR-90's dual turbolasers or a more modern equivalent?
