I have headcanons that several fleets-in-exile including from Mon Cala, Hynestia, Lothal, Sullust, Chandrila, Mandalore, Kashyyyk and Naboo sent a sizeable chunk to aid at Exegol with whoever else decided to join Lando and Chewie in addition to the former crime syndicates who the First Order turned on after the Hosnian Cataclysm since there was no use for them anymore. Meanwhile, the Fondorians who fled from the occupation of their homeworld moved to aid nearby worlds of Thyferra and Jakku while the Aryou of Maya Kovel and the Bakurans sent ships to Batuu and Endor, with the Star Destroyer over the Forest Moon being taken out by a droid-piloted Bakuran destroyer specifically programmed by the usually droid-disliking people of Bakura. Meanwhile, Cloud City got aid from the rest of the Anoat sector worlds including repopulated Gentes and Burnin Konn as well as Lutrillia (under a certain Lutrillian general if he is alive ;) ) and Darlyn Boda.

I also headcanon that the Resistance had another base under Rieekan's command that had more fighter units under Iolo Arana, Jess Pava and Yendor that joined the Battle of Exegol a bit later than Poe's group, thus why there seemed to be more survivors than fighters at Ajan Kloss after seeing how many Resistance craft getting blown out of the sky.

I mean I fully expect any surviving Mandator SSDs to be a huge problem for the rebellion...

Depending on the number the First Order had. Though considering how easy it is for starfighters to take out the top cannons and having enough numbers to deal with defending TIEs while bomber wings take out the main generator, they are very vulnerable targets.

The implication is that the top cannons are enough to keep starfighters and bombers away at a distance. So unless they're fast enough (or Rose-modified with a booster like Poe's X-wing) to get inside that range without a TIE Fighter screen in front of them, they're not as vulnerable as they would be under a clear-run scenario.

And with FO TIEs having hyperdrives, that would make them capable of some dangerous hit-and-run tactics since they wouldn't have to wait to recall (or, potentially, even launch) that fighter screen after firing the main autocannons at whatever target they're going for.

They seemingly have enough of them that you could pair them with a hit-and-run Mandator strategy, though. The ones chasing the Falcon at the start of ROS were just the group that happened to be there or with range to respond- they weren't Kylo's personal escorts (as the ones in TFA were) or anything. Throw in an RSD or two as escort to supplement them with a standard TIE screen if you need to, but let the hyperspace capable ones pop in and out with the "vulnerable" Mandator for their hits.

Detail from Target Vader 2 comic regarding this:

The comic shows Impstar I, V-wings and class IV cargo ships approaching Chorin in a flashback scene probably around 18 bby or so

Don't know if this was ever posted, but EC Henry took a Millennium Falcon easter egg from Star Trek: First Contact and decided to "Star Trek-ify" it:

Eh well, I think the end result doesn't really look much like that faint shot of the Falcon. But still, an interesting attempt.

Yeah, that one doesn't match that well. He'd have been better off adding a second, symmetrical, "cockpit" in the shadowed blur area closer to camera (since you could squint at such a thing existing there), even if he turned the cockpits into something else (some kind of non-glowing nacelle housing or strut). Pull back the central Trek cockpit to be more internal and eliminate that dish on top because there's obviously no concave area (let alone a color-distinct one) in that blur. Hide the bussards underneath the ship (since we also can obviously see that there is no red in that blur). The rest of the shape isn't terrible, though.

I just like to imagine the Falcon got really lost in its hyperspace jump.

I liked that Star Wars Tales story where the Falcon crashed on Earth and Indy found it.
    also Chewie was the Sasquatch.

    Cool.

I wonder if the trandoshan fighter from star wars kinect is on there somewhere...I saw a rip of it a while back, but I can't for the life of me find it again or any reference to it....

Pity there is no higher resolution for the D-wing, Durosian fighter, Lothalian corvette or Hynestian Star Cruiser.

Speaking of, the Spanish Star Wars Encyclopedia will have an issue on Exegol come Jan 21st, think we'll get more info from that one (considering their Hoth and the Second Death Star issue finally named the Weequay Skiff Master from ROTJ [the second Weequay on the prisoners' skiff] after nearly 40 years, pity they didn't link him to being Pagetti Rook's brother by name though :( )?

Btw, I always hear that the Millennium Falcon's hyperdrive is notoriously unreliable due to Han slapping together a bunch of incompatible components. But have there ever been any instances of the Falcon suffering a hyperdrive malfunction other than that one time in ESB?

Perhaps under Chewie and Lando's care, plus Rey, the Falcon will probably stop falling apart all the time because of Han's need to tinker all the time and actually having someone strip apart and remove the components added by Ducain, the Irving Boys and Unkar Plutt over the years that made it even more unreliable.

Or any info beyond its name: "Hynestian Star Cruiser".

Still developing head-canon history for the craft (along with just about every other new ship from the film).

What is a "star cruiser" anyway? Used to be we had the Mon Calamari star cruiser, so okay...it's a warship about that size. But then Episode I comes along and we get the Consular-class cruiser which is nowhere near the same size...and Amidala's royal starship is also called a "cruiser" despite not even being a warship.
