The lower section looks much flatter too, more similar to an ISD's when compared to the protuding belly of the ep. II/TCW Acclamator.
I like his Proclamator (especially the protected shield generator and the smaller fighter hangars), but the back looks more like something you'd see on a battlecruiser/dreadnought than a frigate sized ship.

I think that was the idea - to show the origin of the Executor-style protruding tail.

Seen in silhouette from above or below - that ship looks very like an Executor or Assertor (much shorter proportionally, but the same basic shape). None of his other ships do as I recall. Not even the "Legator" which looks like a kite when seen from above.

[IMG] Does this frame show an example of “bubble” shields or “wrap around the ship” shields?

Were their any visual depictions of the Nebulon-B bridge before Rebels?

I think they're meant to be another name for the TIE Heavies. There is mention of a droid brain which the Heavy also had.

What ship is this from Star Wars 53? Clearly isn't an Executor or Imperial Class

That would be the third depiction of a Bellator in canon, right after the view in a previous comic of the same arc and its use in a Poe's X-wing model packaging. I take what I can get.

On the youtube channel StarWarsExplained, he was under the impression that it's the official name of that bulky TIE that chases the Falcon when it does the Kessel Run.

The Far Orbit Project provided one, as did WOTCs A Reckoning of Wraiths adventure. It is also featured in the comic adaption of Dark Force Rising, however it doesn't really show anything. It propably also makes an appearance in Battlefront: Elite Squadron, but the game only reuses a generic Mon Calamari Style interior.

Edit: Forgot The Force Unleashed II, which did so as well. However the Salvation is absolutely gigantic.

Nope, that's still this fan-made model: Refector-class Star Destroyer

God Larroca and some of the other artists legit owes so many fans money at this point. I can......almost tolerate tracing, but when someone just flat out traces fan designs again and again with no acknowledgment let alone compensation I get more than a little annoyed. Like anyone else involved in creative writing can get fired if they read a fanfic on the oft chance they pull elements from it. How is it that actors cannot even read fanfics, but artists are allowed to flat out copy and past a fan's designs, not to mention exact image. Just.....have they no shame?

I'm not a big fan of the Nebulon-B bridge seen in Rebels, the white interior looks out of place on a KDY imperial design

Have we seen any other Nebulon bridges in visual media? I think the only solid look at the inside of one was the Salvation, and even then we only saw what I think was either the secondary bridge or the conference room

Which steals elements from the Bellator and is a derivative design, so my point stands. :p
I recall fondly the Gondorian soldiers present in a Hyperspace Wars picture ten years ago. :p

Totally agree. As someone who doesn't take in a lot of fan designs, if I wasn't coming here, I'd never know about these... well, thefts, basically.

The even worse part is, if they acknowledged it, I'm sure few fan artists would demand anything other than acknowledgment, AND it would probably drive fan involvement in a pretty cool way. Alas.

Remember the Nebulon-K fan design that appeared in the Aphra comic series a while back? The issue has been raised months ago, and we haven't heard anything yet.

And at least there the Nebulon-K looks like it was drawn from scratch, actually looks like it belongs and not just haphazardly pasted. It actually has perspective.

That Nebulon-K drawing just takes dedication to redraw from scratch, why on earth couldn't the artist use that effort to come up with a new design? Or better yet, take inspiration from ILM's vast archive of concept art?

Isn't that confirmed to be the TIE/rb "Brute?" Also, I'd want an Infiltrator design to be more sneaky than a TIE with gun pod attached.

I worry that the author might have thought ships of Maul's class were in common use. And heck, maybe they are now! I would prefer they not be, though.

Really, Han should have been flying a bog-standard TIE/ln.

"The Nebulon series should be a Rendili Star Drive design" is an extremely small him that I am ready to die on.

In the video he thought it was the "official name" for it. (And checking the databank, it says " The TIE/rb heavy starfighter, nicknamed the “TIE Brute,” ) Wookeepedia seems to agree. Though if true, I agree that it is a weird name for a bulky fighter.

. . . Why? If the author knows enough about Star Wars lore to know that Darth Maul's ship which appeared on screen for like two seconds even has a name, they know enough to know it's not a TIE.

Or even if you don't agree with that, it's not exactly an uncommon moniker for a ship. Heck, I looked up "infiltrator" on Wookieepedia, and these are the ships I got"

Did Vader's ship from the 2017-onwards series get any sort of designation. It looks like a newer version of the Scimitar?

Yeah I hate that ship design. It has been made to look like Vader's suit. Why would Vader's ship look like his suit? It also has a duckbill.

It is the academy crash from the novel.

Which confirms that the infiltrator and the tie heavy are the same ship.

Also means we got real close to Headhunters being mentioned on screen in a Star Wars film.
