1x11 "Tracker Trouble" Rey and Chewie remove a tracker from the Falcon.
1x12 "Teach You, I Will" Anakin teaches a frustrated Ahsoka to fight with two lightsabers. Yoda intervenes, deals with the young Jedi and teaches her a valuable lesson.

 

Neat. I haven't been a fan of must. But I've liked a couple.

But that commercial totally makes me want to tune in to watch it on Disney XD!

Come to think of it, it would be sort of amusing if they keep that as a running gag -- Unkar popping up in unlikely places to take down Rey and Chewie to get the Falcon back. His favorite lawn ornament.

I think there's another with her and BB-8 on Jakku from the first teaser unless it's just a snippet of the short with Chewie but that seems unlikely since it would make the episode too long.

The shots of her and BB-8 on Jakku are all from the Sands of Jakku short, as far as I can tell: them running from the nightwatcher, both looking back at it, and the ending with BB shaking off the goop on top of Rey's walker.

They also showed early animatics of another Rey episode, if it was from the same episode, they would have shown it with finished animation. Same with the shots of Anakin sparring with Ahsoka which now we know is from the short with Yoda in the Jedi dojo,

I dunno if I should consider my instinctive relief after reading this one a sign that I'm listening to Jello too much or not.

 

I'm almost certain the woman in the back right is Sabine's old Bounty Hunting partner Ketsu Onyo.

 

It is.

 

The Ketsu episode has already been told in this book.

 

Is it me or are they really forcing some kind of subliminal message on us with lines like "It's no job for you, girl.... You can't do it by yourself"

We get it Disney Females are just as capable as Males!

 

I mean, we've seen the Blobfish address Rey as Girl before.

It's a really small nitpick.

Hi! The new eps will appear on Disney YouTube after they air on Disney Channel (10/1 and 10/29).

 

Was that... Sabine and Jyn talking to each other?

 

I didn't mind that one so much; it actually served a purpose for the greater Rebelsverse.

Also the fancy blue hallways and crates reminded me of SotE. Small joys.

 

I would've taken a full episode of this over "Ezra ends the clone wars" or "20 minutes of lightsaber practice"

It's a simple thing, but hearing the character/show themes during these really ups the enjoyment factor for me. Hera blasting in to the Rebels theme was great. Not every spin-off uses existing themes, but it's nice that a big, colourful series like this pops them in to identify the characters just that little more. A shame none of the Rogue One themes have been used so far, though.

 

I actually didn't mind this episode too much, it was decent at least.
