Here Belgian Waffles are called Luikse Wafels (or Gaufre de Liège, depending on what language you speak). They're from a particular Belgian city ( French speaking city by the way).

We eat more fries than waffles anyway. Frietkoten (places where they just make fries, possible some side-dish meat) are like the Belgian equivalent of Hamburger joints.

 

OMG, I totally agree.

Anytime a French girl speaks French, I get stunned. Last time I went to Montreal, I tried speaking some French to some French girls just to keep them talking French, instead of English. Damn, even an ugly girl who has a sexy French voice can get me interested.

The only French people that do tend to be bitchy are from Paris. I'll give you that, then again, people in London and New York aren't all that either, I'm guessing that's a big-city thing.

Not entirely true. I was in Paris in November, and most of the people weren't very nice. The few who actually would speak to me were (and yes, I spoke to them in French. They said my French was good.) Many of them were just plain rude, not just to foreigners but to everyone. It's just a different culture, but I don't particularly like it. Everyone in Great Britain was a lot nicer.
